Police Commissioner Andrew Coster doesn’t mention Jacinda Ardern by name but does repeat some of her talking points for his decision.of ultimately removing the protesters.
 Coster say quick decisions by police stopped Parliament protest becoming full-scale riot Full interview - At one point, the interviewer confronts the commissioner about one of his officers appearing to punch and knock out a 70+ year old man as the commissioner doesn’t condemn the action. At the end of the interview, another video is shown back at the studio with the reporter seemingly justifying the punching of the 70+ year old man because he was attacking another officer but doesn’t mention that the officer that the 70+ year old man went after was repeatedly bashing with his shield someone who was already down on the ground.
