Morrison is definitely lacking but Albanese really seems that he will accelerate things in the wrong direction if/when he gets elected. With the Digital Identity Law, aren’t Aussies already in the self-censorship mode for the most part? Of course from your description, most seem to be in favor if this anyway. With the Solomon Islands, I’m afraid the West is about to get their asses handed to them with possibly some help from the inside, too. I still think Taiwan will fall without much resistance and that will quickly open up the Pacific to much more than just the Solomon Islands. The way thing are going now, agricultural land may be incentive enough for China to threaten war at some point with Australia.  |
