I'd say get airsoft over this.
I used to have a F/A uzi BB gun. It was super fun for a moment but it DEMOLISHED CO2 cartridges. You might as well buy a pallet of them for that thing. |

I ordered the one back in the 80's that used freon cans. That joker was fun. There was a certain joy being able to let loose a firehose of bbt. This new one looks interesting. However instead of co2 how about a rechargeable battery?

As fucked up as NFA and Hughes had rendered the MG market, and people’s infatuation with shooting machineguns, I’m really surprised pneumatic full-auto isn’t more of a thing. I think a well-made, reliable select-fire airgun would be market-viable at as much as 3-5 hundred bucks. View Quote |

Back in the day M19A1 full auto freon powered machine gun
Empty grain silo, mice, carnage follows. |

@wayward_texan had a problem with his that he was able to repair without too much trouble. I haven't had any issues with it leaking CO2. I leave it loaded so I can harass the tree rats with it, and so far every time I've put it up with loaded CO2 cylinders it has fired without incident days or weeks later. |

I'll be getting that for my 13 yr old son this Christmas, yeah for my son.

It's kinda like a fat chick, it could be a lot of fun, until your friends see you with it.

Ive had mine for about 6 months now and have gone thru a 2500 count bottle of BBs. 100% reliable so far. I get about 7 mags worth of CO2 before its time to swap em out. I need to order a couple more mags now that they are available View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I'm surprised no one here has mentioned the Larc M19 bb submachine gun......big plastic POS that ran off of cans of R12 Freon.......froze solid as a block of ice after a few good bursts.... https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/55482/LARC_ad_finished-737532.jpg View Quote |

Hopefully it’s better than the full auto Umarex Steel Storm I bought my son a few years ago for his birthday. Made it through roughly 200 bb’s and it quit working, sent it back to Pyramid Air and gave up on full auto B.B. guns. The Russian Baikal Drozd is the one to get but no longer imported. View Quote Shoot it with my 10 year old daughter. It is outrageous fun on full auto. |

I would have cut every yard in the neighborhood for the whole summer to be able to buy one of those!

Any reason why BB guns can't be run off a lipo battery pack like airsoft?
I just hated CO2 guns growing. Leaked, constantly swapping out new canisters after 50-100 rounds, inconsistent performance due to weather/other factors, etc.. Using a battery pack is so much better in every aspect...and you can recharge instead of constantly burning through cartridges. Figured a lipo batter would have plenty of juice to power a piston/fire a bb. |

My 11yr old has a AR with a 22 upper
Will 550rd value packs $19 screw a BB gun. |
