Well, it wasn't a bacterial infection that could be treated easily. I'm not that lucky. It definitely wasn't a tumor either, though. I guess I'm not that unlucky, which is nice.
Long story short, Mia has arthritis in her lumbar spine. Specifically, she has a condition more akin to dogs much older than her. We have a plan that includes supplements, pain management, getting her very lean, and are hoping to get in with a PT soon to build some strength. Still no real idea what set off that acute reaction and extreme pain though. I guess arthritis be like that. |

So, my wife bought one of those dumb petsmart x-mas stalkings full of dog toys the weekend before Thanksgiving and laid the thing out on a table in my gun room.
One evening, Chloe was crying in the basement staring at said stalking full of dog toys and we had no choice but to give her said toys on the spot. Today, my wife came home with a bunch of x-mas dog toys and decided she'd stow them in one of my gun safes. That's not how this works. That''s not how any of this works. |
