Quoted: I missed the Mia news because Verizon was being stupid last night. What’s the word, mockingbird? View Quote Spondylosis deforma at L3-L4. The bone is starting to bridge the gap. There's also signs of bad arthritis across the lumbar. Essentially, she's a 2 year old with the lower back of a 10 year old. So, pain management, physical therapy, weight loss and weight management, etc. We were all hoping it'd be an easy fix with antibiotics, but there were no signs in the X-rays of discospondylitis and she had a clean urine culture. The good news is, there are no tumors and there is zero nerve degradation. She has full function of her limbs, which is great. The plan is to keep her active with walks and low impact exercise, but to be very mindful about how that activity is affecting her. High intensity activity is essentially out the window, aside from very short bursts. I just hope we don't get that extreme, acute pain again. I wish I knew exactly what set that off. |
