She has a civilian pilots' license. She is active duty Air Force and has said she want to be an active duty Air Force Pilot. Currently, she is studying her master's degree in public policy. I don't know anything about the Air Force, but that doesn't sound like you are an F-15E pilot.

She is cute and an achiever, but this is why real journalism is dead.
She is 22 years old. Graduated the academy last year, ie 2023. And is now at the Kennedy School of Govt in a Masters program. There has been no time to go to a year of pilot training or 6 months of fight qualification training. The word "pilot" is mentioned once in the Yahoo article, talking about her getting her civilian pilot's license at 16. Article simply says "Air Force officer."
Good on her. Her degree from the AFA is in Astrophysics. Frankly, I'm stunned they chose someone who doesn't appear to check many DEI boxes. |
