I'm into power lifting style training. (I don't compete). My wife is also into power lifting training. She is very strong for a woman.
Based on our numbers, I am at least twice as strong as she is in lower body lifts, and three times or more as strong in upper body lifts. It's not even close. When I used to run, I could easily do 6 minute miles (and I'm not fast). She would need a bicycle to do that. A girlfriend of mine from long ago was a second degree black belt in TKD. She was strong and tough. We got to play fighting one day (no gloves) and I cracked her in the jaw and she fucking cried. Reality is a bitch for some people. |

My two teenage Daughters are so very different. My oldest at 17 has slid to the dark side by hanging out with lefty weirdos. I take every opportunity to respectfully educate her on reality. She does end up agreeing with me on a good number of things such as men as a whole are significantly physically stronger. My youngest, a couple of months away from turning 15 (and an excellent soccer player and athlete) is very much a conservative and does not buy the lefty BS. My oldest is quite a bit like her Mother and my youngest is quite a bit like me. I love both whole heartedly.

You should meet my niece. She competes nationality in Jiu Jitsu. She destroys boys that are a foot taller and several years older than her.
In reality, it's all technique though. She isn't big or strong. She looks and acts like a normal 13 year old girl. It's interesting seeing a post-pubescent teenage high school boy cry after getting his ass handed to him by a pre-pubescent middle school girl lol. |
