I havent been here long enough to really know Deej, but I remember the thread that got him banned.
If I had to guess I would say the dude was just having a shitty day and that thread became an outlet for his frustration, so I don't really have enough knowledge in regards to whether he deserved a ban or not, if it was based on that thread alone, then maybe. From what I can see some people really like him and some people don't. Apparently he used to be good people and then he changed. I remember his latest come back where he apologized, and then I remember his banning, and a few posts in between that did not really grab my attention one way or another. Seems like the guy has lots of IRL stress, and perhaps he used ARFCOM as a way to take out his frustration. But, that is not a good excuse to act like he did in the latest thread. But like I said, I haven't enough knowledge to pass judgement. If most of his posts were like the ones that got him banned, maybe it was best for everyone, including him, as it seemed that ARFCOM perhaps caused him more stress than it helped him. |

He started off as just one of many interesting but harmless characters on the site, his particular talent seemed to be recalling a variety of facts about various members. Most people cut him a lot of slack because of his "differently able" situation.
Over the years he slowly burned up any and all goodwill without any efforts at replenishment until even his site pals couldn't continue to ignore it. He did go out in a blaze of glory by wading in to a silly/dumb but completely innocuous thread that had nothing to do with him and start insulting people, kicking over the Christmas ham, shitting on the countertop and waffle-stomping his own dick. I was watching it unfold and it was truly an epic account meltdown. I wouldn't think there's any coming back from that but who knows, plenty of dumb things happen here. |
