I remember the controversy, but never knew the exact details. I thought it was the whole verse, printed on the bottom of the mount or something, so it took forever for the military to notice it.

smith28542 informed me they're still on all civilian products. I had no clue.

I always felt that Luke 11:21 would also work.

Like I said in the other thread, the verse will always reference the darkness or the light.

And sometimes both, I guess.

I specifically looked for and bought a TA31RCO ACOG in the old style just so I could get one with the Bible verse in raised lettering. That's the version the military insanely went about defacing. You can see pictures of these ACOGs with the verses dremeled off of them. It infuriates me. Is truth and goodness so offensive? Are we so embarassed of God that our military men must not be reminded of faith? What a pathetic and low thing to do on the part of whoever made that call.

Proud of Trijicon and proud to have my Bible ACOG.

That's very nicely marked.

The ACOGs in the style of something like a TA-33 or TA-02 are not marked quite as nicely as some of the smaller things like the RMR.

And, of course, the print location can differ within the same product. Some RMRs marked at the top, some at the bottom. 1-6 VCOG is marked opposite side of the 1-8. I'm sure there are other differences.

That print looks really good.
