I was surprised to learn that, after time in theatre and some TV work, Die Dard was Alan Rickman's first movie roll.

Wasn't he also some evil professor in the Harry Potter Series. The man had real talent. It was hard not liking his nasty characters.

Rick Ducommun (Art, from the burbs) passed away in 2015. He was a city worker, electrician, named wayne if I recall correctly.

I’ve never had a pen pal that I quoted well over 100 times in random threads who exhibited nearly instantaneous input on my posts on an Internet forum. It’s pretty odd. Is this pen pal in the room with you right now? |

Gonna watch that and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation tonight while getting the tree and rest of the house decorated!

Netflix has a “movies that made us” episode on die hard, they mention that. Worth a watch if you haven’t seen it, it’s funny how the story evolved. |

Damn I didn’t know Theo (aka Sundown, aka James Trivette) died.
He shaped some of my childhood. He was always a good side kick. |

Regal is doing a discounted showing tonight for $6 a seat so we slapped an MP5 a few times and got tickets.
I would have CCWed my Beretta but didn’t feel like digging the holster out of storage. |

I share the love for Alan Rickman.
It is doubly sad that we're losing Bruce Willis a little bit every day. He doesn't deserve this. |

And even though it wasn't English he said some things in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. |
