Raise taxes going into a depression. Smart! More money wasted on green energy boondoggles when what we need is oil, gas, coal, and nuclear. |
|
Fuck them
“According to Schumer's and Manchin's offices, the bill will raise $739 billing in revenue through IRS tax enforcement, the corporate minimum tax, IRS tax enforcement and closing the carried interest loophole. It will spend $433 billion total, they said, on energy and climate change provisions and on the ACA extension.” |

the whole god damned country needs to go on a tax strike.
We need to stop funding the Feds, this is starting to get pretty fucking stupid. |

Lol, I hope Manchin enjoys his last term as Senator from West Virginia.

All the lefty "green" companies owned by relatives that will be filing their incorporation papers this week will soon be awarded tens of billions for green development... only to make the execs rich before going bankrupt, just like last time. Oh, and the kickbacks, payoffs to 3rd world dictators, and then some! ACA EXTENSION.???? We have a fraudulently installed President who has no authority to sign bills, and his cognitive deficiencies alone are enough to remove him had he been honestly elected. Further, the gov lost all legal credibility and authority to govern or collect taxes when it politicized the IRS, FBI and other agencies. And on top of that, these scum sucking degenerates SURRENDERED OUR SOVEREIGN BORDER! They refuse to fulfill their Constitutional duty to protect the states from invasion! Then they monetize the debt via inflation, which erodes our buying power and decimates the value of our savings and investments, and make everything even more expensive by waging war on oil. Why is anyone allowing them to confiscate our hard earned money? |

I thought the Nevertrumpers said that Manchin would never cave?

I don't see this playing well in flyover country, with the left or right. I'd say it will be a minor negative in the end for the dems. The Republicans could make some hay on this if they held the line and no repub voted for it, but they won!t.

I wonder how many of the IRS regs they seek to enforce can be disappeared via the SCOTUS EPA ruling
|

Wow, who knew. Wish I had called it months ago.
All he wanted was corporate taxes raised and said as much, not like Ds aren't about that. |

"Senate Democrats can change the name of Build Back Broke as many times as they want, it won’t be any less devastating to American families and small businesses,," Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, said. "Raising taxes on job creators, crushing energy producers with new regulations, and stifling innovators looking for new cures will only make this recession worse, not better."
"With inflation at a 41-year high and a looming recession, Democrats want higher taxes, more government spending, and to attack American energy," Senate GOP Conference Chair John Barrasso, R-Wyo., added. "So much for helping American families." |

If republicans win in November I’m sure they’ll reverse it.
Just like Obamacare. |

I hope Manchin is smarter than that muppet in Lousiana and that he doesn't keep all that cash in his freezer. I hope he enjoys the payout he got.
And anyone thinking he's even remotely close to our side needs to have their head examined. Manchin is on Manchin's side. He doesn't give a shit about you or the voters of WV. He's loving this attention. |

Nice.
Just days after headlines about Germany reversing course and firing up coal power. What, a week, since the EU declared gas and nuclear as green? Talk about being a step behind. |

Corporations do not pay taxes.
The stockholders pay the taxes, and with bill they are taxed twice. |

This closes the carried interest loophole. That’s fucking fantastic for the right.
And I couldn’t give fewer fucks about taxes on major corporations. They got in bed with the dems, they can go fuck themselves. The rest of it is undoubtedly bullshit. |

Quoted: Corporations do not pay taxes. The stockholders pay the taxes, and with bill they are taxed twice. View Quote No, the company pays the taxes. It’s shareholders find the value of their assets then effected by the cost of that. It’s not the same as paying. But it’s amazing that people see this that way but don’t see how a tax deduction is essentially like spending for budgeting purposes. |
|
FWIW to some extent taxes reduce inflation since they basically destroy money supply.

IRS tax enforcement? You mean the same IRS that can't afford enough employees to even answer their phones?

Quoted: IRS tax enforcement? You mean the same IRS that can't afford enough employees to even answer their phones? View Quote That’s the thing. The IRS budget has been squeezed and they haven’t been doing audits at early their historical rate. Egg heads who investigate such things believe that a major investment in the IRS would pay back something like 8 to 1 in revenue found. A better question is why have we created a tax system so complex that there’s room for bullshit. |
|
Didn't they have record tax revenues?
It doesn't matter how much money they have, they need more. Their pockets have no bottoms. Fuck. Them. All. |

And all their money in envelopes to your elected politicians. Don’t like it, change the government with your votes. Good luck with that. |

We need to raise taxes so we can give ukraine another 75 billion.

|
"Inflation Reduction Act of 2022"
Lol, you're gonna reduce inflation by spending a half-trillion dollars and raising taxes during a recession? Absolutely fucking retarded. |

Not only are we watching this nation burn in-front of us, but we have to pay for it too.
WTF |
