Yeah, the dang things look like a JKU or JLU from the front.

At least with the MJ, the two door cab means you have a chance at telling it's not an XJ from the front.

Surely you have proof of multiple Jeep recoveries. Where are all of these rescues happening?

I have 3/4 truck as well, but my jeep fits much better on the trails

Same class as honda ridgline or ford maverick.  Except for a full frame and better offroad.    I can't believe how low the towing capacity is on them.

If the vehicle has an actual frame and the bed is separate from the cab, I'd default to calling it a truck.

This is far less arguable than one of the 3/4 ton SUVs being a truck or not

I have a gladiator, a wrangler, a RAM 1500, and a RAM 2500.

The Jeeps are vastly better off-road than the trucks.    No comparison, and I bet the people bitching about Jeeps in this thread have never been off pavement.

Yeah, when I want to haul shit or tow shit I use the trucks,  That's not what the Jeeps are for.

IIRC around 4k for most of them,  unless there's an options package I'm unaware of.

There is in fact an options package you’re unaware of: it’s called the towing package.

Specifically “Max Tow” and it bumps the tow cap to around 7700 lbs.

That is just silly and uninformed. The Jeep JT's frame is based on the Dodge RAM 1500 design, just a few inches shorter. The 3.6L V6 Pentastar was used in the RAM 1500. The rear suspension of the Jeep JT is also based on the RAM 1500. The Gladiator is thus a Jeep Wrangler combined with a RAM 1500 truck.

So what does it do that similarly equiped 1/2 ton won’t do, besides having a bobbed nose that gets the front wheels closer to inclines.

A built gladiator can be a serious machine all kidding aside

I wouldn’t say there is a huge difference in a stock raptor with 37’s and a non rubicon gladiator especially when the gladiator doesn’t have front and rear lockers

I thought the biggest I would be able to go was 38’s on my 250 but I think I would have had room for 40’s with minimal trimming. I’m definitely going up to 40’s next. The 6.7 with the 10 speed doesn’t even notice the bigger tires
