I always cut my sandwiches because a cross hatch of what you're eating just makes it look better.
Depends on the sandwhich how you cut it though. A Club is going to get the 4 squares. A Reuben is going to get it diagonally. |

Eating at home I dont cut because I make big sandwiches on big bread. If I am taking to work where I may cram it into a helmet bag, yeah I sometimes cut.

If square, diagonal cut. If Marianas Trench down center of loaf, top-to-bottom cut. If contents drippy (PBJ), no cut. |

I don't eat sandwiches except for on the rare occasion... Like Jersey Mikes or something.
If I did eat homemade sandwiches regularly I'm not the type to cut them. My avoidance of sandwiches is due to lunch meat being highly carcinogenic. I also try to avoid hot dogs, sausage, bacon, ham and most jerky. Also steak... Not for the same reasons, I just don't like it. |
