I’ve been thinking about getting one. Probably get a G20 if I do.

Not anymore.
Full power ammo is too expensive and hard to find. |

Got into it a couple years ago with a Sig 1911, working pretty good so far.

Quoted: Probably been said already, especially by me, Glock 10mm pistols shoot .40 without mods or problems. Most target grade 10mm is 180 grain at 50-100 fps faster than .40. So in most cases the target ammo is much more than .40 for very little difference. Save the Underwood and Buffalo Bore for more deserving targets. View Quote I think pretty much all modern 10mm are good to go. It was actually the earlier 10mm Glocks that were known to have issues...most notably the Glock Smile. I load 100% Nuclear loads. 200 gr @ 1,200 minimum. 1,250 if I'm feeling froggy. |

Bro. SAO 10mm Legion? I love you. |

Once I started with .460 Rowland I stopped shooting those cute little 10mm baby cartridges.

Candidly I still cant get either the G21 or 1911 to run correctly with the .460. My G20 is my go-to for out west hiking in Grizz and Lion country. |

I've thought about getting a really nice SAO 10mm but it's kinda a meme in Northern Virginia honestly. But that doesn't stop me from owning Buffalo Bore/Underwood/DoubleTap/ etc etc |

Yup, all glocks. G29, G20 and G40. The G40 is probably one of my favorite pistols. Super smooth shooting and dead nuts accurate

Funny thing is I bought a case of 10mm in Dec of '19, right before all the ammo craziness started. I think I paid $350 delivered. I didn't really need it but glad I did.

G29 with 4.5 KKM barrel. Actually taking it to grizzly country in April.
Wife and I are going to Alaska. |

Quoted: Have you joined the 10mm master race? Let's see those best mm handguns! I picked up this Ruger SR1911 in 10mm a couple of years ago. It's a soft shooter. Handles the round well. I added the Ruger black diamondwood grips and called it good. I still need to add a fiber optic front site. Definitely a great shooter for the money. https://i.imgur.com/cbsK0wD.jpeg I ordered one of these puppies in 10mm today. The Ruger needed a fren. I bet it's going to be fun. 11 rounds of 10mm in a compact frame ain't nothing to sneeze at. The optional 15 round mags will be even better. https://i.imgur.com/Shcjl7I.jpeg View Quote My only interest in 10mm is that it can be necked down to 7.5mm and give short barreled AK ballistics in a handgun. |

Yep! I have two. One is a Glock and one is a Wilson combat. Guess which one shoots every time and guess which one does not.

I believe my .44 mag trumps 10mm. My handloads replicate Garrett.
My .357 mag handloads, trump 10mm, too. So, I have no need for another caliber. Besides, blue steel revolvers are sexier than semiautos. |
