Yep. I've had a few over the years. Probably have a few more before times up.

At one time I owned 4, I have 0 now

I have an A2 upper I plan to obtain a 20" barrel for at some point.

Not yet. I really want one

Nope, not really interested in getting one.

Of course not. Governor Andy says that they are extra deadly to toddlers.

But if I hadn't gotten rid of them all in the Great SAFE Act Purge, I would still own my Bushmaster.

I have one, for now.

That upper will be moved to a lower equipped with a Gen 2 UBR whenever they become available, and than that lower will be paired with a lightweight 18" rifle with iron sights (Faxon Gunner). The new upper is awaiting drilling/pinning of FSB. But here's a mock up.

Yes

Colt SP1 and a Colt HBAR

Both preban rifles in orig config and exc condition

Not yet. It seems A2 configurations are not so easy to find for someone on a budget.

No, I dont. All my barrels are 14.5 or under except one 6920 that's waiting to get chopped.

I wouldn't mind having an FN A4 with a KAC M5 RIS just because that's what I had in basic.  Lots of other stuff on the list before that though.  I'd rather have a Dissipator and SPR first if I were to get anything with a barrel over 14.5 inches.  More likely a combination of the two.  A MK12 Mod Wormydog...

M-16A1 clone with all Colt GI parts except receiver. It is an SP1 receiver.

1/12 twist and good old M-193 and 60 grain Partition loads are very accurate and destructive.

I want an A1 (sight and buttstock) with 1/7, 1/8, or 1/9 twist CHF pencil barrel with a chrome line bore.  Handguards could either be A1 or A2 style as long as they don't crack easily.

Nobody makes this rifle so I cant buy it.

So many good 20 inch barrels. So few with FSB attached.

Which companies will do the taper pin thing with whatever barrel I ship them?

I have an A4,  I really want a m16a1 or colt sp1. 20in is best rifle.

Yes.  It's horrible.  Front heavy like a motherfucker.  Doesn't do anything I need appreciably better than a 16". Reach out? Grab a different rifle.  I just black friday ordered everything I need to go to a reasonable configuration now. 16", faxon gunner barrel, light rail system, with a nice adjustable stock. It'll be glorious.

Look for a 20" hbar, rifle stock, and quad rail on the EE later today.

I voted no, but only because I rebarreled it to 18" recently.  That barrel just wouldn't shoot. I like the idea of having as much as much speed as I can out of a round, but I've found that I REALLY like the 18" length for balance in several calibers that I own.

Midway through the ban years for me. Bushmaster which I picked up very lightly used for ~900 out the door which was a great deal at the time. Oh, how things have changed.

ETA: I have an old SP1 also.

20" a2, 20" a4 clone to remind me of 10228804 my Iraqi warfighter FN m16.

I've got a few lowers sitting around and they'll probably end up being 20" rifles.

Just build an A4. Its not completed, and has a lot more parts to go yet but I am really looking forward to shooting it. A member here, actually is giving me a A-2 stock

I really look forward getting it built and finished. I hope to one day be able able to go MK12 with it.

No, but if there is such a thing as an M16A1 available for purchase I would do everything in my power to own one, even at the expense of selling all my other guns, hunting stuff, and even vehicles.

It was the most fun gun I've ever shot. Plus nostalgia.

For now, I'm going to work on getting a CAR15 clone. I almost think an M16A1 clone would disappoint.
