I am astonished that people believe this.
The Big Bang is one of the dumbest theories ever. |

It's all the result of something. I guess a bang is as good as anything else.
|
|
No. But I also find it hard to believe one God created all of this.
|

You need a time machine to prove it, and if you go back to see and it's true, you get blown up.
People are so smart, they know everything, science is real. No humility left in the world. |
|
|
It's obviously all the result of someone we've never seen, never heard from, have no proof he exists, and is constantly in need of more money.
|

Why are you astonished? It allows people to ignore morals that go beyond animalistic urges. If there is no intelligent design, then it’s truly “survival of the fittest” and you should do whatever it takes to gain power/resources.

I believe life on earth is a product of God our creator. I believe marxism is a product of satan the liar and destroyer.

The complexity of the universe as a result of the big bang is infinitely easier for me to believe than that there is some immortal being who made it all.

The rapid expansion of the universe within the first few fractions of a second is well established with empirical proof. Literally no one knows what happened before that, so calling it either "random" or an "explosion" is speculation and not part of the scientific theory. The big bang was not the start of the universe, either, it's something that happened a fraction of a second after what may have been the start--but since we have no data on that earlier fraction of a second we can't even say it was the start (nor can we say it was not). |

View Quote Our species requires a set of base morals to survive, we are tribal so we need each other, we wouldn't last long if everyone just killed everyone all the time. Beyond that, I agree with you, and history shows it. Do what it takes to ensure the survival of your tribe. |

Quoted: I am astonished that people believe this. The Big Bang is one of the dumbest theories ever. View Quote In my opinion, one of the best pieces of evidence is something that was found during an investigation that had nothing to do with cosmology or cosmic inflation. Wilson and Penzias were trying to figure out why they were getting low level noise from a microwave horn antenna. They blamed pigeon droppings and other mundane things, but noticed that the nose was present even when pointing directly at the sky. The antenna kept receiving the same general low hum. Eventually, realizing that they had no explanation for it, they talked with others, and eventually someone put two and two together -- a consequence of the inflationary model (a revision to the original big bang theory) was that the original energy of the universe should still be here, but as the universe expanded the energy shifted lower and lower in frequency (it got colder). The prediced cosmic background radiation, called the cosmic microwave background, matched the accidental discovery by Wilson and Penzias. TLDR: Someone who wasn't looking for evidence of the big bang theory found evidence that supports the big bang theory. |

It is the best model that we have to explain things currently, since everything outside of our galaxy is moving away from us faster than the speed of light. What led up to it, and what started the expansion is anyone's guess.
Edit: Beat by a few seconds with a lot more detail . |

I made up the cyclic Big Bang theory years ago before I knew it was a thing.
I mean, it's one explanation. We don't know the real explanation yet (aside from "believing it so hard it must be true" knowing). |

We've moved well beyond the year 2013, but there they are, just like the 3K microwave background radiation, still there, echoing through time as Arf expands into the Brownell's universe.
So, yeah. If we are to believe in this thing we call '13ers, then I think we should also accept the possibility of expansion from a singularity, a point beyond which we cannot see into. |

No it's obvious God is real and is the architect of the Universe.

Father Cavanaugh to Rudy: Son, in thirty-five years of religious study, I've come up with only two hard, incontrovertible facts; there is a God, and, I'm not Him.

I believe in intelligent design, and I believe that within the heart of every man is a void that only God can fill.

Not me, I know where this all came from, its in Old Testament, Genesis.
My 16 year old dog appeared to be on his last few weeks, his front leg wasn't working for him. I asked Jesus to help him, next day we woke up and he is walking as normal. Jesus did that. When judgement day comes I have many things to be ashamed of in my life, but I believe God sent his only begotten Son 'Jesus Christ' to die for my sins and I will spend eternity in Heaven with my Heavenly Father |
