Quoted: to my non believing brothers who mock the worship of this "bronze age god", Years ago, I came to the conclusion that I had a choice of believing in a Magic Man in the sky or magic self exploding dust. He's coming like a thief in the night, please, please carefully consider. I encourage you to check out Evidence that Demands a Verdict (McDowell), Is God a Moral Monster? (Copan), The Cost or Discipleship (Bonhoeffer), or anything by GK Chesterton. Or, if you haven't ever done it, just sit down and read the Gospel of Mark. View Quote Yoh have to have something wrong with you to deny the evidence McDowell lays out. IMO |

Not for as long as people keep predicting it.
What's so hard to understand about no one seeing it coming? |

Quoted: In the next 20 years? View Quote He's coming back for a BRIDE.. The, "Church" will be unified when he does. |

I always felt i would see it, but it could be another 1000 years. Who knows. All i know, people who mock and refuse the Holy Spirit, will pay dearly, as he is coming back for vengeance not mercy this time.

I don't think any of the miraculous claims in the bible have sufficient evidence to warrant belief. So, no. I don't think Jesus will return.

It's not my place to know the date, it's just my place to be prepared.

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: I dont know when..............but He will return just as He said He would Oh, I believe that. I often think about if I’ll live to see it happen. I'd like to believe again, but I'm afraid what I do believe is there will never a man who will live to see it happen. |

He will come at the fullness of time just like His first coming.

Absolutely!!! We just don't know when, but we can still watch for the signs of His return. In the next 20 years? Maybe, maybe not.

Quoted: In the next 20 years? View Quote It will definitely be 7 years(2,520 days) from when the rulers of Israel sign a peace accord assuring peace for Jerusalem. Given 1) that 20% of millennials identify as LGBTQ which gives us, "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man." 2) Russia has secured Crimea to give them that warm water port, "And come from thy place out of the North parts, thou and much people with thee? all shall ride upon horses, even a great multitude and a mighty army." we're seeing a lot of pieces start to fall in place. |

Assuming this is all true, things need to get a heck of a lot worse still. Like, ww3 with the nukes raining down bad

If it’s based on the number of times his name has been called out, between my dad and now me with kids.....it should be soon

Quoted: In the next 20 years? View Quote I think so. If you read the vials, trumps, and seals, it sounds like we’re pretty close. We’re heading for a one world order and picking up steam. |

If the past two years didn’t get people’s attention, it never will.

Don't care when he comes, it's his clock that's ticking. I'm just thankful he's coming.

Not in the next 20 years as was asked. We are to believe that no man knows the time, so that means if someone says it will happen in 20 years, it won't happen because then someone would know...
|
|
Yes, he will come back. Only he knows when, hopefully sooner than later
|

Not until there is so much chaos, turmoil, war, sickness, poverty, and everything else that is supposed to happen in the world that a kind, charismatic figure suddenly appears offering a solution...
No one knows when, but it will be so obvious when He does return. |

We have become too comfortable, as America turns Tyrannical and persecutes christians, my hope is more will turn to God and be saved. That it is a blessing to save ones soul, instead of being a comfortable and lost.

Quoted: Given the amount of prophecy that will point to His return, not sure of your position on this. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Not for as long as people keep predicting it. What's so hard to understand about no one seeing it coming? "But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only." If someone is making a call, they are wrong. When God says no one will predict it, I trust his word, and can safely presume that any predicted range is not correct. I'm also a cessationist, so the idea of any new prophecy is highly suspect. Canon is closed. |
