Wish people like Rush and Hannity would just step back for a moment from being entertainers, really take an honest look at this situation, and call Trump on his craziness. If Trump's followers aren't a little worried after seeing the CPAC speech, nothing with change at this point. Just wish we had someone in a position of authority, someone like Rush/Hannity (a person that Trump's fans respect), would step in with some honest assessment and say "This isn't a liberal thing, this isn't a conservative thing, this is a human thing and being honest with ourselves. Something is seriously wrong with Trump and this needs to be addressed." |

I barely tolerated Hannity before the primary because I found him to be rather simple but, since I spend a lot of time behind the wheel while he's on I'd usually put him on. Then during the primary it became absolutely unbearable to listen to him. The final straw was when Cruz was on Hannity's show and Hannity proceeded to attempt to dress Cruz down over Cruz pointing out the very blatant bias in the press for Trump and giving him the most air time. Hannity took umbrage because Cruz's statement struck so close to home. Hannity got all pissy at Cruz and claimed he gave equal time to all the candidates, while completely neglecting to mention how he soft balled all of Trump's appearances and then spent the rest of the time there weren't candidates on the show, talking about how great Trump was. Rush at least paid lip service to Cruz's Conservative chops but Hannity was/is just completely in the bag for Trump regardless of ideology. |

Something else interesting I've noticed is an influx of late 2018 and 2019 non-team, no feedback newbs joining up that just so happen to be very vocal Trump supporters that do nothing but evangelize Trump, proclaim to tell us how great even the most Liberal things he does are, and that if you don't love those Liberal things too, you must be a Liberal. I've seen one that actually bought a team membership but I've got a feeling he's just a regular pro-Trump retread. It's easy to fill an empty vessel with whatever you please.  |

Like Dan Quayle "potatoe," Dubya caught saying "shit" at G8 summit (now Trump swears during actual speeches and his fans cheer) and "Childrens Do Learn," etc.. It's like Trump has completely lowered the bar for every upcoming president. No one will have a legitimate right to complain about a president being an idiot because our current idiot has most likely done the same exact thing 100X before. Anytime a new president makes a mistake, the opponents will simply pull out a list of 100 quotes or video clips of Trump saying/doing the exact same thing and instantly shut down the debate. It's like every upcoming president now has a permanent "get out of being called dumbass" jail free card because of our current shitshow-in-chief. |
