Voting for Trump suits your conscience more than voting for Cruz or Walker?

People want Trump out so they can pimp Bush. That much is plain.

Are you THAT helpless?   You have no choice but to support Trump or Hillary?

Imagine if that was the intention all along.  Some say that is just as plain to see...

IMO, it's going to be a Biden/Warren ticket for the Dems.

You just won't have someone to vote for who will win.

Being the winner is nice and all, but voting your conscience is better.   I win enough in real life already.

I would find it to be an utter shame if Trump does not finish off the dullard Jebediah before he bails for I=his independent run and in his attempt to hand it to Swillary.

I want Trump gone because though I like that he is chastising the idiots in the republican party, RINOS especially, He is a stalking horse for the Clintons.

Hillary or Jeb, Same end result kind of like Dubya and Obama.  All from Club Progressive.

Hillary is a cunt hair away from a career ending scandal regarding her private servers and she's got too many enemies looking to grease the skids.

She won't be the nominee, it'll be Biden most likely.

Realistically, no one else has a chance of beating Bush except for Trump

I want Cruz, but he has zero chance. He's still barely registering above 5% in the polls

History shows that the early leader in the polls is the candidate. Just more proof that the establishment forces their choice on us

Think about that for a moment.

You have been led to belive that "no one else has a chance of beating Bush except for Trump."

And of EVERY candidate running, no one else has a worse chance of beating Hillary than Trump.  He is dead last in every head to head poll against Hillary.

And all the Networks are focusing on Trump, pumping up the name recognition.  Washington Post and CNN and NYT tell us that Coservatives are "furious" of how Fox News treated Trump.

And people here are now enthusiastically supporting the candidate with the worst chance against Hillary.

And people here now are attacking Fox News.

Nothing I said is false.

Now think.

Not true.  Nothing I stated is opinion.  Let me demonstrate  (read it in Spock voice for better effect):

You have been led to belive that "no one else has a chance of beating Bush except for Trump." He stated he believes it.  It is NOT my opinion.

And of EVERY candidate running, no one else has a worse chance of beating Hillary than Trump.  He is dead last in every head to head poll against Hillary. This is supported by the average of all of the polls on Realclearpolitics.com.  This is not my opinion, it is a fact.  If we dismiss the polls, then we cannot claim that Trump is in the lead against his Republican opponents, can we?  You cannot have it both ways.

And all the Networks are focusing on Trump, pumping up the name recognition.  Washington Post and CNN and NYT tell us that Conservatives are "furious" of how Fox News treated Trump.  This is also undeniable. It is NOT my opinion.

And people here are now enthusiastically supporting the candidate with the worst chance against Hillary. This is also undeniable, and not my opinion.  It is an observation of the previously cited polls AND the opinions of OTHERS expressed, here.

And people here now are attacking Fox News.  Hillary and Obama hate Fox News (fact).  Trump supporters are bashing Fox News (fact).

NOT my opinion.  You are dismissed.

1. That is your opinion of his opinion.

2. Show me the poll.

3. I'm going to have to find that post where you say only Trump supporters are furious.

4. Relevant.

5. "You are dismissed" lol, you wish you were Trumped and you know you wanted to say "You're fired!"

Your denial of the obvious is so sad.  Everything I said is a fact and supported by evidence that I provided or that was commonly known.

You're a useful idiot and you don't realize it.  I know that is hard to accept.  You'll eventually realize it and cringe.

Now feel free to ascribe to me all sorts of false assumptions.  It will make you feel better.

So does much of the discussion which reeks of a heightened  sense of emotion.

Hysteria; it's what takes the place of facts these days since too many are now ruled by their emotions rather than the power of reason.

The media has honed it's button pushing skills well, so well, that the rubes believe they are thinking for themselves rather than merely reacting exactly as they've been scientifically programmed to.

The Republicans have themselves to blame for leaving such a huge gap for Trump to walk into.
That gap was created by YEARS of the GOP telling their conservative base what they want to hear, then doing NOTHING.
Most of the Republicans who have gained seats in the Senate and House got there by promising to put an end to Obama's overreach and abuse of power, then coming back a few months later with "We don't have the votes for X" or "Leadership wants to hold off on Y until this next big vote and we'll amend it" or whatever.  YEARS of being told that the Republicans can't do what they say they would do because EVERY FUCKING THING will either get vetoed or will result in a shutdown.

The Republican base is PISSED OFF and that's the most significant reason that Trump is getting real traction instead of some of the great candidates that they have this cycle because almost everyone else is a part of the system that has abused the voters trust for so long.  Trump won't apologize, he won't back down from a fight and the base is STARVING for that kind of 'GET SHIT DONE" attitude, to the point of really overlooking Trump's amazing 11th-hour conversion from a typical big-money-cronyism Liberal to a Rock-Ribbed Conservative Tea Party wet dreamboat.

Personally, I was starting to warm up to Trump prior to the debate.  I thought maybe what the Republicans needed was a huge kick in the ass from someone who just wants to get things done, no excuses.  I can sympathize, really.  But following the debate it seems really obvious to me that Trump isn't in it for America or for stopping Obama.  Trump is in it for Trump.  At this point I really don't even think he wants to win the election.  I believe that soon he will start dropping in the polls and when it stops looking like he will win the nomination he will run on an Independent ticket.  He will take a YUGE chunk of voters away from the Republican nominee, NO MATTER WHO IT IS and the Democrats will slip in some big-money loving crony in (maybe Hillary but I kind of doubt it).

I can't be angry at the people who plan to vote for Trump though.  It really is the fault of the Republicans, for constantly shitting on the faces of their base while
telling them "We Love You!"

Hysteria; it's what takes the place of facts these days since too many are now ruled by their emotions rather than the power of reason.

The media has honed it's button pushing skills well, so well, that the rubes believe they are thinking for themselves rather than merely reacting exactly as they've been scientifically programmed to.

Not being a smartass, have you changed your perspective that Fox News was targeting Trump or trying to take him out in the debate?

(Or did you not think that in the first place and I've lost (more of) my mind?)

She was once on the Howard Stern show talking about having sex with her husband late into her pregnancy, her breast size changes, etc.

If she can appear on that show and talk freely about her body, I'm sure she's not offended with Trump making a "that time of the month" comment.

Trump’s appeal is that he might be able to get low-information, occasional voters who are dissatisfied with the system to answer a poll and state their support for him.

Whether these voters will come out and vote is another story. Most, if not all, polls are not checking how likely these voters are to actually participate in the process, let alone confirm they are actually firm Republicans.

Virtually every other Republican in the race is not as well-known as Trump but has higher favorable ratings among the party.

Where Trump’s support comes from is (self identified) moderate and liberal Republicans. That’s not exactly the heart of the GOP, and it is debatable whether they consistently vote Republican.

These findings do not lend themselves to the idea that Trump is drawing his support from the GOP base.

You might believe 90% of americans support .gov fees/permission of private property firearm/ammunition transfers

You want to believe Republicans could repeal Colorado Democrat Party gun control with Hickenlooper in office.

Colorado Republicans push to eliminate gun-control laws passed by Democrats

It's a fair point, I may be mis-reading Trump's support.
I do think it is fair to say that the national Republican party has done very little to secure or increase the passion of their base voters, though.
I believe that through inaction and making excuses, the House and Senate Republicans have left a lot of votes out there to be sucked up by Trump's pandering to people looking for real conservative leadership.  Trump brings celebrity and 'outsider' status which helps him with those who are fed up with the RNC's courting moderates.
