Just got my FAA Part 107 airman's certificate a couple of months back.

I'm legal!

ETA: No way in hell that video was shot within LOS, or within FAA regs.

Drones are so awesome !  I remember seeing a drone video, some guy in London starts it late at night, on a cold foggy night. The drone starts going out of his apt window and quietly makes its way through the darkest, foggiest London alleys late at night. Like a ghost in the night. It was soo cool.

San Luis Obispo Ca - right behind the California Men’s Colony prison - just before/after the train goes over Cuesta Grade on Hwy 101.

Also, google Tehachapi Loop - it’s next Hwy 58 east of Bakersfield CA

ETA: very long time ago I rode Amtrak on that 180 - from Oxnard to Seattle.

Just about anything from P3Pro and up...anything with LightBridge technology.

You can buy it for less than $500 if you don't mind settling for factory certified refurbs.

Exactly what I thought. You could invade a small country with all that equipment, and that's just a fraction of the U.S. military capability

Sounds like fun, I'm down.

My rationale is that it would be pretty useful to survey your immediate vicinity in real-time and locate people, animals, etc.

If you've got a way to charge it on the go and switch out batteries quickly, I could see it being useful in the aftermath of hurricanes and disasters.

It's not.   I live in the area and there is nothing like that bridge.

It does turn green for a month out of the year.

I am not a huge fan of flying tripods.   Not a ton of skill involved.    If I was in that location I would have Nurked the hell out of that train/bridge spot with some freestyle flying.

One pack track freeroam with my racing drone about 30min west of tehachapi

No train.   When they are going up hill towards Tehachapi they are moving way too slow.   Have followed a train through the tunnel and it is boring as hell because my drones fly too fast to maintain a good viewing angle.

Back in the early 80's those Union Pacific Pricks made us use 24 chains front and back to rail head 60's....I see they changed there policy...Those dick heads....

Those looked like older IPM1's....probably heading from the Sierra Army Depot to Anniston to be rebuilt into new Killing machines...Good.
