[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Dutch Government Begins Euthanizing Citizens with Autism, Including Children (Page 3 of 4)

Quoted:Once you "allow" Dr-assisted killing, it is just a tiny step further to allow the "doctor" (or the healthcare ministry) to determine whether you should be killed, for the common good. There's a difference between voluntary euthanasia and involuntary ... just like homicide and murder. Words fail to describe the pain I saw in my step-grandfather's eyes for the months they kept him alive. He no longer could talk and only could blink his eyes. I used to drive grandmother into the city to visit her husband. They did open heart surgery on him and kept him alive on machines doing a series of experimental surgeries on him. He finally died after over six months of violent operations upon the dying man. He did die the day after his insurance policy expired. Once while grandma was in the bathroom grandpa looked over at me and started crying. I asked him if he was in pain, he blinked yes. I asked him if he wanted the doctor, he blinked no. Eventually I asked him if he wanted to die, he blinked yes very hard and looked into my 18-year old eyes pleading. Dignity with death is a good thing. When it came time for my mother to die it was troublesome balancing her pain from the cancer and her sanity. She would howl and cry as the pain came to her body. It would get so bad she would double up and couldn't speak. By the time the pain medicines were at a good level for the pain she hallucinated badly. It was very confusing to her and she didn't like it. It was my mother's body but not her brain and she spoke nothing but nonsense. When the drugs were in balance she asked me several times why she was still alive. The cancer was sadly inoperative but graciously swift. Mom suffered for only a few months before the disease finally took her. That was hard to do as a witness and I hope to never put someone through that. |

Quoted: That's becuase it's bullshit from a obscure 'Rage' site. I posted the actual criteria. Quoted: Quoted: Doctors in the Netherlands have been ordered to begin euthanizing citizens with autism and other minor disabilities, without fear of prosecution – even if the patient does not currently express any desire to die. Around 40 people who identified as autistic or intellectually disabled were forcibly euthanized in the Netherlands between 2012 and 2021, according to a Kingston University investigation of Dutch euthanasia cases. That cant be true. Has to be sensationalist journalism. That's becuase it's bullshit from a obscure 'Rage' site. I posted the actual criteria. The bigger problem is folks believing the bullshit like this that's sprinkled into an article with only some facts. Yeah, physician assisted suicide is legal in the Netherlands. Yes, they can do it for a variety of reason. NO they're not finding people the deem "unfit" and killing them. |

Quoted: For medical stuff? Peer revieved reserch and The Lancet would be a start. However compared to Newsaddict.com it's a bit of a false dichotomy in the sense that the site seems to be trying to push 'rage' stories instread of actualy trying to report something. FCNN wil try and report something and give it a lefwing spin. Really 2 different setups. Lol the lancet. Lmao. The fucking lancet. Fucking garbage when that dbag torpedoed vaccines. Fucking garbage with covid stuff. Lol delete your account |

from the article The World Economic Forum-controlled Dutch government is now euthanizing citizens, including children, who suffer from autism or other intellectual disabilities. In recent years, soaring numbers of people in the Netherlands have been legally euthanized for autism, alcoholism, depression, dementia, and the effects of being a victim of sexual abuse. In 2020, the government relaxed laws to allow children under 12 years old to be euthanized for minor disabilities. The Netherlands is one of the most WEF-friendly nations in the world and the current government has embraced Klaus Schwab’s vision of a depopulated world, by any means necessary. Doctors in the Netherlands have been ordered to begin euthanizing citizens with autism and other minor disabilities, without fear of prosecution – even if the patient does not currently express any desire to die. Around 40 people who identified as autistic or intellectually disabled were forcibly euthanized in the Netherlands between 2012 and 2021, according to a Kingston University investigation of Dutch euthanasia cases. |

Yes, they can do it for a variety of reason. NO they're not finding people the deem "unfit" and killing them. It's legal in Texas too including for 6-month old babies. The Texas Advance Directives Act (1999), also known as the Texas Futile Care Law, describes certain provisions that are now Chapter 166 of the Texas Health & Safety Code. Controversy over these provisions mainly centers on Section 166.046, Subsection (e),1 which allows a health care facility to discontinue life-sustaining treatment ten days after giving written notice if the continuation of life-sustaining treatment is considered futile care by the treating medical team. People who request euthanization because they believe they can no longer cope with life is one thing, however, the article attached to the original posting says: "Around 40 people who identified as autistic or intellectually disabled were forcibly euthanized in the Netherlands between 2012 and 2021, according to a Kingston University investigation of Dutch euthanasia cases." For me, the key word there is "FORCED", and that I cannot accept. Essentially, they are executing people who are inconvenient. They can justify it any way they wish, but the bottom line is the same..if people become too inconvenient, the Dutch government will kill you. That is a very slippery slope because it will become increasingly easy for the society to decide that more, and more people are too inconvenient. Some very realistic possibilities would be anyone convicted of various crimes, prisoners who have over a set number of years in prison to serve, mental health patients, homeless people, people with physical disabilities, anyone with a substance abuse problem (then later modified to include anyone who uses prohibited drugs), people who have been on state supported financial programs too long, and the list would continue to grow as more and more people in the society get increasingly comfortable with the society killing people. I guess too many Dutch people lived too close to Hitler for too long, and took his model for social restructuring to heart. |

Here's a June 25 NY Post article saying the same thing as the OP's link. ABC News article US News & World Report There are a bunch of others. You could fill a library with what the news doesn't tell you, huh? |

You could fill a library with what the news doesn't tell you, huh? No. The OP’s article uses the word “forcibly”, implying euthanasia against the patient’s will. That is black and white different from physician assisted suicide. |

Quoted: Here's a June 25 NY Post article saying the same thing as the OP's link. ABC News article US News & World Report There are a bunch of others. You could fill a library with what the news doesn't tell you, huh? Again. Yes, euthanasia is legal in The Netherlands. No one has disputed that fact. The OP's original link stated that physicians had "been ordered to begin euthanizing citizens with autism and other minor disabilities", which is just a blatant lie. Some fact, sprinkled with enough bullshit to rile up people that really ought to know better. |
|
Quoted: None of the other articles or the study cited support the claim that anyone was 'forcibly euthanized'. IOW they lied to stir shit up. Any news article that cites a “WEF controlled government” or Klauss Schwab, probably should just go in the garbage by default. |

Quoted: So true and once you allow someone to shoot a criminal for good reasons it's just a tiny step further to allow them to shoot for no good reason. There's a difference between voluntary euthanasia and involuntary ... just like homicide and murder. (personal anecdotes snipped, as it has nothing to do with implementing law for an entire people) You analogy is deeply flawed, but I think you know that. I am not allowed to shoot a criminal just because he asks me to. I am not allowed to shoot a criminal because he's stealing my xbox. To use your "allowed to shoot a criminal" example, the mere act of being a criminal isn't legally enough to justify shooting him... there must be a credible, immediate risk to my life, in which case an equal, deadly action by me to prevent my own death or severe physical harm is justified. "I am allowed to kill another person who is immediately presenting a threat to my life" -- how exactly do you see that right translating into Dr-assisted suicide? (Hey, YOU made the comparison, not me) |

Quoted: And just like that the autism rates dropped 99.87%. The new diagnosis is "they were just being an insufferable little shit" the whole time. Attached File |

Quoted: India and China still kill female children pretty frequently. China may be advanced enough to do this via abortion, whereas poor Indians will either step on the baby's neck or let it die via exposure if they can't sell the baby. Quoted: Quoted: For children? That's definitely taking the pro-choice argument to a whole new level. Predictable, but child murderers love murdering children. India and China still kill female children pretty frequently. China may be advanced enough to do this via abortion, whereas poor Indians will either step on the baby's neck or let it die via exposure if they can't sell the baby. That’s changing, in China at least. Not because of morality and shit, but because CCP policies have created a demographic catastrophe and they need meat for the wars they plan to be fighting 20-30 years from now. It won’t be long before the Family Planning Gestapo is repurposed into the Breeding Enforcement Gestapo, who will make sure every Chinese woman does her Duty to the Party as many times as it takes to breed their way out of the hole they are in. Girls, boys, the Party needs both. |

Quoted: If someone doesn’t want to live, it’s as much their right to die as it is to live. ( barring temporary issues from tragedy, deaths, trauma etc, and they are of legal age, etc, and life insurance is voided as a result ) but if someone wants to die , it should be allowed imho. Then they need to kill themselves. It's crazy that people, especially now, would say, "hey this controversial topic that could snowball out of control, should be allowed and the government should have a say in who gets to legally kill who". Kind of like, the gays only want to get married, to where we are now. Don't give an inch. They'll want to allow "dignity" in death, then it will be people that are a burden on their caregiver. Then it will be parents that are stressed out from their children should be able to kill off their kids. Then it will be people that are inconvenienced by their children should be able to kill their children. Then it will be killing of undesirables, aka political opponents. Legalizing murder of innocent people is horrible and even if the article is BS, we know Canada is doing it and it should be stopped. If you can't do it yourself, things aren't that bad. |

Quoted: Bull fucking shit. We were told my son would be autistic, have diabetes, have major heart problems and that we should abort. The fucking doctors were eager to do it. Guess who was born an absolute healthy boy? Quoted: Quoted: Seems it would be less evil to require tests on fetus and require abortion if high probability of birth defects ..than rounding up children / adults and killing them. Less evil, but still evil. Bull fucking shit. We were told my son would be autistic, have diabetes, have major heart problems and that we should abort. The fucking doctors were eager to do it. Guess who was born an absolute healthy boy? We were told our unborn daughter was very likely to be born with Down's Syndrome. We had them do the tests again and...it turns out that the first time they had entered my wife's age incorrectly. Suddenly there was only a small chance of Down's Syndrome. Our daughter is just fine and in college now. edited - wrote autism instead of Down's. |
