My prayers are with you and your family. I became a widower at 36. That was 14 years ago. It wasn't easy but I had 8 months to get ready as my wife was dying from cancer. I'm not sure how I'd have dealt with a sudden death like you are having to deal with. If I can give you some advice from someone who has been there, it is this: - Live each day one day at a time. - If people offer to help, let them. It will make them feel useful and it will let you deal with the bigger stuff. - You will go through many stages of grief. It IS normal. - If you need help dealing with your grief, don't be afraid to ask for help. - Routine helps. I had to get up the morning after and feed the dogs.
