My husband has a huge head and teeny little ears so he has several inches of clearance. But if I wear one of his hats and it's seated properly on my head, I have to tuck my ears in or it digs into the gap and really hurts.
Comfort over style.

I do have a theory about flat bills and ears tucked ... being around a lot of bros, particularly desert bros, i have given this subject some thought... The ears are tucked so they don't get sunburn, the bill is flat so can pull it down right to the top of your giant sunglasses. Effectively Bro sun PPE without mom slathering you with sunscreen. I tried it, it works, however, every ball hat i wear still gets the bill bent so the corners touch. |
