Quoted: Quoted: I find myself agreeing a lot with AJ lately. This has me very concerned. It disturbs me that you think it requires a head injury to think like I do. This one time, I had a rock bounce off my head during a riot. Well, a rather large rock. Fortunately I had my helmet on. |

Quoted: I learned something new today. Balistic Advantage is no longer putting a relief cut between the threads and the barrel shoulders. They said they are in the process of updating their pictures on their website. I learned this when I contacted them because my direct thread can wouldn't thread all the way on. Apparently they had an issue with people gorilla-threading their cans on and yeeting the threads right off... I don't know which one of you yahoo's kept cranking the tip of your barrel off, but now we (direct thread enthusiasts) will need shims or a crush washer to use BA barrels... ????? Pictured is a screenshot of what I got verses what I was expecting when I ordered my 8.3" Hanson profile 300blk barrel. So if your in the market for a barrel, all of BA's barrels will be full profile thread (i.e. no relief cut). This is not meant to be a blast on BA by any means. Just a PSA for those looking for a new barrel just in case this would impact their choice. View Quote I made threads end within .060 of the shoulder to keep shims from falling into the undercut. |

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU cnc warrior just so happens to sells a qd socket that will fit. Imagine that. But they're perpetually out of stock. Why dont they just fucking include it with the brace and mark it up by $15. I still would have bought it. |

Quoted: It would appear that washington state got fucked with magazine capacity limits yesterday View Quote Potentially fucked. Senate passed the bill on party lines, it isn't scheduled for a house vote yet, they tried this in 2020 and house Repubs tabled 120 amendments when there wasn't time to debate so it never got passed. Hoping the same will happen this time. |

Weapon Genetics Is Legit I was at his shop yesterday and he's got a bunch of nice AKs that he's done including a Polish Tantal that had all the right stuff and a few ZenitCo rifles too. He builds about every variant and had 15-20 on the walls. nice rifles and they looked well built. Super cool guy too, knew a lot of small details about trunnions, Russian folding stock pins and little stuff that only a collector type AK guy would know My PSA 103 to AK105 6.5G conversion is going to him once I get my eF1 going He said about 8 weeks turn around time, maybe less depending on workload. He said to be very clear on the work order form, include ALL the parts and include the work order with instructions on the build in the parts box. Pretty typical for a good builder He didn't care about the ALG trigger in the Tula, he said ghey money spends as well as straight money |
