Why in the fuck can't people put the actual fucking NAME of the person who died in the title of the post. Her name was not Elly May Clampett, it was Donna Douglas. The correct title should have been "Donna Douglas, the actress best known for her roll as Elly May Clampett died 01 Jan 15". View Quote Someone give this guy a Quaalude and stack him in the corner. |

First , RIP
Seems like Elvis pretty much jumped on every good looking girl of his time . Money , success, folks seemed to like him and a line of hot stuff around the block standing there waiting for him to call. Shame he couldn't keep his hand out of the pill bottle or whatever the hell he was into. |

View Quote SouthHoof-Thanks, sure glad I got to grow up when this was a 'new show'. Sure had a lot of good shows in the 50's and 60's, taught us a lot. Loved the guitar playing, and, Rest In Peace Donna. And Your Critters. |

She looked pretty awesome in the Beverly Hillbillies considering she was 30 when the series started and was playing a "teenager" and about 40 when it ended and playing a girl that was supposed to be in her early 20s.
I miss shows like that. |

If decaf is all it took, I'd be good for about 50 lbs of it! |

I have a pic of Donna and me when she lived in Tulsa attending Rhema bible college, she was a guest speaker at a private banquet that I attended. I think she was in her mid 40's then but looked 25! She was a very nice lady.
RIP Elly Mae, |
