These are certainly neat, and I do personally like structures like this, but I can't help but notice a trend in housing recently: none of them are suitable for families.

The majority in urban areas, where these things aren't going to fly due to density constraints. But, there is a decent market for people in suburban and exurban areas who want a low overhead solution that doesn't involve wife beater t-shirts, pitbulls and meth - this would appeal to them. A larger issue is that of property arrangements. Some areas have that worked out, others may start working on that, other areas won't. |

So they start off by talking about how long it takes to build a house (months) and show a decent house with a 3 car garage. Then they show the Lego house that looks like it's maybe 1/4 the size.

These are a lot more attractive than most of the trailers I’ve seen and they seem to be easier to move around. My main point was that there is absolutely a need for single person or single couple housing. |
