Unless I am mistaken, I had the privilege to meet the organizer of the Trump Train last week. While it was not actually said, I would bet decent odds that she will be a congressional candidate in the next 4 years, if not 2. At one point, she was an employee of the Texas Republican party, but she severed that relationship to keep the party from manipulating the work she was doing in the Latino community. Or at least that is how the story was presented - but it could just as soon be that she left to start developing her own political run.

Was Harris even on the bus? It is my understanding that on these bus tours it is an empty bus traveling from city to city while the candidate hob-knobs with the important people. Then they take a charter jet to the next city where the bus picks them up.
Traveling from San Antonio to Austin would mean you were stuck in South Austin traffic for an hour or so. |
