PAYBACK.....

Hubba Hubba......

What no one seems to realize is, there are TWO VERSIONS of Payback.....

The theatrical release, which is what most everyone is aware of....

Then....

The Director's cut, which takes a hard 90* Turn, and doesn't resemble the original after that....

BOTH are very entertaining....

Lucky Number Slevin is good......Nice twist....

And, Law Abiding Citizen ended totally the wrong way....

Three versions. The first being Point Blank made in 1967 with Lee Marvin.

What's that Steve McQueen movie with Karl Malden?  Crap....gonna have to look it up.  Outlaws kill McQueen's family and he sends years going after them.   Nevada Smith  :)

Books, graphic novels, etc. Parker has seen a lot of interpretation.

5 pages and I can't believe nobody mentioned Edge of Darkness (2010) with Mel Gibson.  The ending was fantastic.  The man had nothing else to lose.

Kid my brother grew up with insisted the car in that movie was called a Dodge Division-because the credits say "vehicles provided by Chrysler Motor Company, Dodge Division."

@beitodesstrafe

Starts a bit wierd almost turned it off then it became my favourite movie

There are a couple of amazing scenes with Guy acting. Really staggering to me. I won’t spoil why he wants his car back but the clues are all through the movie if you look hard

Oh and that sparkly vampire plays an awesome retard

Shame the good guy died at the end.

Yeah, but it really wouldn't have worked out well to close it with him alive either.

Payback!!!

Honorary mention to The Punisher (Thomas Jane)

Gladiator is a fantastic movie but I don’t immediatley think of revenge upon mention of it even though he definitely got it.

Fun thread to read, all 5 pages of it.  I need to rewatch some of these.

Count of Monte Christo is an epic story.  He serves up incredible amounts of revenge but also saves people’s lives physically and spiritually.  I may have to find a copy of the recent French version that stays faithful to the whole adventure.
