Even when you pick them off you can still taste that salty/fishy nastiness.

Maybe dad will order you a small cheese pizza you and you sleep over friend can pick at.

Cooked Anchovies on pizza don't bother me a bit.
People who eat that nasty assed raw sushi shit do though... I'll take anchovies over that fucked up idea of pineapple on a pizza every time! |

chef john from 'food wishes' on youtube:
"think of anchovies as salt with benefits." now that i've learned to cook with them, they're great! |

I worked at a pizza place for several years.
First few years I avoided the fishies, someone ordered and abandoned an anchovy pizza and we were gonna toss it. Figured "what the hell" and grabbed a slice. Know what, it ain't half bad. Wound up eating half the pizza and after that would eat them on occasion. Not something I would go out of my way to order but they are not as gross as people make them out to be. |

I don’t mind it. It is NOT a favorite. I won’t seek it out.
But if you put an anchovy pizza and a pineapple pizza in front of me, I’d eat the fish. Pineapple is not supposed to be warm. |

Bait fish, not fish bait.
Not good from Domino's, but I'll eat them occasionally from a good pizza place. |

I like anchovies on pizza, but I prefer them to be diced rather than whole fillets.

They are good in moderation and if you trust the pizza place to use good quality anchovies.

Have always heard of anchovies but have never seen a pizza place that offered them.

On pizza and caeser salad from quality restaurants? Pile em on please, thank you.

A true marinara sauce has anchovy as an ingredient. You can use the salty tinned fish for this.
To eat them whole, I prefer them cured in lemon juice and served in olive oil. Don't eat the tinned ones straight and that's coming from a guy who eats sardines and herring. |

View Quote I also enjoy anchovy pizza. It's best with some kalamata olives, a la Pizza Napoli. You know what doesn't belong on pizza? I don't even have to say it. That's how wrong it is. |

Good shit! Also the base of Worcester sauce, if you didn’t know.

Try them on pizza out of the can after the pizza is cooked. The best.

I love anchovies. I prefer them right out of the can as opposed to baked on.

Lol @ the people with palate of a child.
And I don’t get the hate of pineapple on pizza. You have the salty cheese and the sweet pineapple. Add to that the acidic sauce and fresh dough, it’s like a perfect combination of flavor. |
