Rather spend $19K on a Tacoma.
They need to make that with a diesel, manual trans , crank windows, leaf springs, manual lock hubs if they want my attention. |

Pretty snazzy. Wonder if they’ll ever do a road legal version with a Coyote. Doubt it but you never know. I’d love a chance to drive a legit desert race truck at least once.

notbad.jpg. Just don't like the logo on the door and the beadlock color.

They are out of their fucking minds and this is coming from a Bronco man

If only I had 200K. Looks like it would take minimal prep to enter some Best in the Desert races.

It's still just an overpriced shit box with a blue oval on it. I like Ford but thats just stupid. Imagine the availability of replacement parts.

Should probably just focus on getting production ones on the lots.

I’m kidding, it looks cool. But I can’t help but think it’s directly targeted at my beloved Jeep Gladiator Mojave.
Your move, Jeep! This is fun to watch. |
|
How many will ever be raced?
See the 93 Cobra R, 95 Cobra R, and 00 Cobra R as examples of "you have to have a racing license to buy" requirements. Those were street legal cars meant for club racing. Then you have the whole segment of limited factory racers that have no VIN that actually serve no purpose other than to race. Some road racing stuff and the cobra jet race cars. If this Bronco comes with a VIN it will never see the street or offroad racing events. |

Looks cool and all, but at that price point I can't imagine who the target demographic is. Anyone that's interested in the actual desert racing aspect of it is going to prefer to build their own for that money. For any other purpose than actual desert running, it looks like it would positively suck to live with.

I'll just continue to modify my Jeep Rubicon to how I want it.
All about that customization. If I'm going to sink six figures into a vehicle it's going to be configured exactly how I want it to be. |

Collector vehicle.
Less than 5% of the lot will ever see hard use. |

View Quote 200k is pretty close to what some places charge to take a stock Fiesta and rally prep the heck out of it. There are some amateur teams who can probably just afford the car, but not the full support team it would take to build one. It’s still not a huge market. |

How much?

So they finally decide to offer one with a v8, but then price it at 200k.

I used to hate on Ford a lot. They’re fucking killing it these days.

Why don't they drop that push rod 6.8 Al block baby Godzilla in it?

View Quote Nobody's going to market that vehicle. Because it would sell about 5 units new, and be a huge money loss for the MFG. People who want a "simple, basic" truck or SUV usually aren't the ones buying brand-new anyhow. Car makers are making cars for people to buy new. |

Lol. Once again GD has no idea what they are looking at and goes full retard with the comments.

Those are still identified as their respective models. |

New Ford Broncos are junk. Ford dealers are also screwing over those that ordered one. Telling those that reserved them that they owe another $10,000 even though customers signed an agreement. Dirtbags. Already problems with torque converters and soon to have rear axle problems. Wait and see.

200K?! Jesus H Christ.... For 200k I could build something that would be funner and more capable than that.
