Most intelligent answer in this whole thread.  I laugh at these guys that think a Taco with a few bolt ons will finish the 1000.  I can't even get my truck ready this year for 60k. (Race prep, chase team etc.).

Unfortunately we’re not racing the 1000 this year - “life” has gotten in the way of too many of our guys since COVID stupidity started in early 2020.

I was talking to TT owner from Texas a few years ago at the farmers field on Hwy 3 just west of Ojos Negros - he commented they spent over $50k on travel costs alone for the B1k.

I am sure we have met before.

I am going to the 1000 this year, but I will be chasing.

I got behind my first Bronco in the wild a few days ago.  2 door version.  I couldn't believe how small they are.

Was it a Bronco Sport?  Legitimate question- not being snarky.

You can get 35” tires from the factory with certain option packages on the “regular” Bronco - it’s not a tiny vehicle. Although I’d really like to see the engine compartment with the V8 stuffed in there - not a lot of room with the 2.7 V6 as it is.

Will the roof leak and the tie rod ends keep breaking?

I dunno, if I was as rich as I am poor I might like to have one.  Just for grins.

They don’t make a 2 door Bronco Sport

Brad Lovell was the Ultra4 Nationals 4600 stock Class winner with this Bronco.

Edit:  granted you probably need a cage and some other safety features.

It does. It's basically a production version of the Bronco R.

Shit I didn't read or hell even look well enough. It does have a cage.

Idk how close it is to the truck that was raced but I went to the races and they killed it with that thing.  I have a few pics but I'm too lazy to post them from my phone.  There are also some pics on the Ultra4 Facebook page from mid October.

The Bronco DR has a V8 with 90 more HP. And the 4600 is based on the 2dr frame, the DR on the 4dr.

From what I have seen, it was one.  I think the tie rods are the same as the Raptor and they don't seem to be destroying them with 37s.  Not overly worried, but I will probably take a spare end along on trips.  I usually take a replacement half-shaft/CV with my Tacoma and probably do that with the Bronco too when I can find them.  Shit happens, and usually when you are 50 miles out on a remote trail.

Rather spend $19K on a Tacoma.
They need to make that with a diesel, manual trans , crank windows, leaf springs, manual lock hubs if they want my attention.

I just want the nuts vent under the steering column

Cool… a lot of money for a vehicle that will likely sit in someone’s trophy room and get driven to *$ so other men can masturbate on it.

Whatever gets ‘em to part with their money I guess

Id bet more smaller racing teams and groups of enthusiasts pooling money together will be buying these. $200k isn't much for a factory ready racecar you can load up on a trailer at the dealership and head out to compete with.

But I do hope some rich dude buys one near me and brings it to shows. I'd love to check one out in person
