Quoted: I'll be that guy. Goodbye and good riddance. View Quote Ya, i was actually kind of thinking same. Being a "nice guy" does not make up for the damage he did as POTUS and the lives that a worthless and incompetent POTUS inevitably costs. Also the damage to the nation in 4 years can take a decade or more to repair. Same with the current occupant of Oval Office. Carter must love Biden since he took over title of worst President in modern history, within his first year in office. |

At least Jimmy will die knowing there's a president worse than him.

Quoted: That was Tricky Dick, led by that snake Kissinger. Carter did give away the Panama Canal, which now has Chinese at both ends. Until 0bama minced onto the scene, Carter was the worst president we had. I thought 0bama would retire the trophy, but then I never thought the country would be stupid enough to put Biden in the Oval Office. Shame on me. Honestly, looking back on the '08 election, I thought 'this idiot has no chance to win'. But there he was, stinking up the Oval Office for 8 years. Idiocracy come to life. View Quote This is why I can say today that I have zero issue with draft dodgers. Our elected officials and the powers that be did not fight to win. As our brave soldiers were dying and being injured for life the same people were working to get us in bed with commies. Fifty year cold war, all that blood and treasure and for what. We are now owned by commies. |

I remember going to Plains, GA., back in the 70's. In over his head and a terrible cabinet. Navy vet so

View Quote I'm a boomer and Jimmah Cahtah, his cunt wife, and ugly as fuck daughter can die in a fire after choking on a bag of dicks, as far as I'm concerned. And as for "boomers", we're more likely to despise that piece of shit than you and your ilk who only know the Carter showing up to pose for pics pretending to be building houses because we personally remember him talking down America, grabbing his ankles for the Soviets, Iranians, Cubans, Sandinistas, etc. We'd also be the ones who know Carter was despised by his peers as a sanctimonious, holier-that-thou asshat all the way back to his Navy days. |

He was a horrible President and much of the shit that has happened since he left office (including current events) is the legacy of his incompetence as POTUS. My Commander in Chief, but the man always struck me as your hypocritical not that bright uncle. Someone you don't really listen to.
They say they go in threes. Here's hoping Kissinger and Soros follow him out the door. |

I knew Jimmy as well as the rest of the Carters. I worked for the smarter, but not more intelligent, brother for several years. Jimmy was very intelligent and a gentleman, but the common sense in the family went to Billy. Jimmy’s fame pretty much ruined the next Carter generations though. All the Carter kids and grandkids turned into raving, self indulgent, privileged assholes. I guess that’s common though.

Quoted: Who was worse? Do nothing Obama was all talk. Biden is a feeble infirm but hasn't yet totally diminished the US internationally like Carter vis a vis Iran. Who was worse? View Quote It was do-nothing Obama's State Dept and CIA that overthrew the elected govt in UKR in 2014 and set the stage for what is happening now there. Biden travels around and cant remember where he is or who he's talking to, gets lost on stage, lets a Chinese balloon float through our airspace, and made a shitshow of leaving Afghanistan but at least his rainbow coalition of Cabinet- level circus freaks gets him points with liberal Europeans. You can bet for damn sure the countries that should be fearing us are laughing at us. |

Some things I care about, others I don't. View Quote You cared enough to post lol. Just wanted to spread your negativity and miserableness I guess. What a president does in their life before and after office actually does reflect on a lot about them as a person rather than as an office holder. For better or for worse. |

In his case I really don’t think it was avarice but simple incompetence instead. |

Lots of folks that claim to be a Christian fool people that don’t know what being a Christian really means I grew up in an extremely Catholic family. Grandma met the pope, saw the bishops multiple times at relatives houses etc. The ones in my family that spent all the time in church generally were mean spirited, judgmental and did the least to help others in need. Those in my family that didn’t run to church multiple times a week or play deacon were the ones that took care of sick relatives, did yard work, house work, cooking etc for those that couldn’t. Carter’s religious act never impressed me. He was a hateful man that loved dictators. |

president of my lifetime until Biden, but he seemed to want to do good and he did complete an honorable tour of service with the Navy. |

Quoted: Carter was a shitty president but he honestly loved the country and did what he could for it. He helped turn the tide to end Jim Crow bigotry as a member of the New South coalition and he did everything he could for our people in Iran, including Operation Eagle Claw. He served in the Navy, worked as a farmer, and cared for folks. The biggest low point in my opinion of him is his relationship with Fidel Castro and giving away the US Panama Canal Zone. View Quote |
