Chevron Techron is the only one I'm aware of approved by a few OEMs, GM, Ford, BMW, Honda and Toyota I think as well. Mostly to deal with sulfur contamination to fuel senders, causing weird gauge readings and such.
Seafoam ranks up there with the Obama administration in terms of scams and lies. I wish I would have thought of it myself, I'd have been retired like seventy times over. There's nothing in that can that will do what they say it will do, it's three ingredients that you can purchase and mix together yourself to make the same basic product if you were so inclined. At best it's a waste of money, at worst it's a good way to fuck up an engine and/or catalytic converters and O2 sensors (if so equipped).

Seafoam is made up of naphtha, pale oil and isopropyl alcohol. The burning of the naphtha in the cylinders concerns me, I don't have any hard scientific evidence to back it up, but I figure hot spots in the combustion chamber can't be good. And the byproducts of this shit being burned works it way down through the exhaust, onto heated O2 sensors which skews the readings from them, and into a very hot catalytic converter that heats the substrate even more than it already is. Hot enough to melt/block it.
And 44K. I wish I had the hands on demo to show you, where basically there were test tubes coated with a residue that was made up of fuel byproducts, and the 44K didn't do a damn thing to remove them. It's one of those you-have-to-see-it kinda things. For what it's worth, 44K is not flammable either.
