Great thread! Love all of the pics and stories!
I’ve got an Australian version and love him, but adding a German brother may need to happen! |

Quoted: Thanks for the info. I've wondered about that, I've been recording weight on the 1st day of the week, like the day he turned 13 weeks; I think the middle of the week would be a bit more "accurate" for how much he weighs at whatever week, 21.5# weight at start of week would easily be 23# by mid week. Ear almost / trying to stand sometimes is more accurate, it is still down more than it is up; pic representative of an "up" moment. https://www.glocktalk.com/attachments/13weeks-jpg.430746/ View Quote I'm a data nerd so I have a spreadsheet with the date, his age in days, and the weight. It's remarkably linear when plotted, haha. Attached File |

And found a tooth this evening. Another 4-6 weeks and we'll be through teething.

My awesome idiot when he was younger. https://i.imgur.com/Gk0rWPp.jpg And him 3 months ago after we almost lost him when his stomach flipped. https://i.imgur.com/1Stgxqr.jpg View Quote The stomach flip is that bloat? I read both pro/con on elevated food bowl. My pup was eating sitting down quite a bit. Got elevated 8" bowl so he has to stand. Was hiccuping after eating prior to elevated bowl, seldom now. |

This is my Teddi. I had to have the Vet put her down yesterday. She hasn't been eating and a few days ago the Vet found stomach cancer. Nothing to be done. She always had a tail wag and a kiss for me but I knew she was in pain. I sure miss my girl.

She was Freyja's old, grumpy buddy. It never gets any easier to lose them no matter how many times you go through it and we always seem to keep doing it to ourselves. Just goes to show how awesome dogs are... |

Hank finally swam all on his own last night. He has always loved to splash and play in water as long as he could touch the bottom. A few weeks ago @Surf let us borrow a life jacket, so I've been carrying Hank out to chest deep water to get him used to the feeling of floating and paddling. After 15 minutes of me tossing sticks and him whimpering like a baby, he finally overcame his fear and ventured in to the deeper water all by himself to get them last night.

Attached File Zorgie would be at the end of the dock and I would throw the stick. He would run back to shore, run into the water, swim out to the stick, retrieve it, swim back to shore, and run it back to me at the end of the dock. One time this lady brought two Labs that would dive off of the dock. He watches them and learned that jumping off the dock was good to go. |
