I think scientists are pro-gun, and this is to help kill any real support or interest FOR the new anti-gun bills.
It's probably not even true about the it being maybe-closer to eruption. |

Homo Erectus wasn't made extinct by the last eruption. There was enough time to evolve from Homo Erectus but certainly not enough time to evolve from Homo Bentus or Homo Crawlus. I think the comment was that while the last eruption was bad, many species survived. |
