When I took office a little over 2 years ago there was a ton of thefts and burglaries along with a bunch of meth heads hanging at the parks doing deals and getting jacked. In just a few months we were able to turn the city into practically zero crime rate area. There has not been a burglary or violent crime in the city in over a year. Good police work is all about being seen and proactively contacting as many folks as possible, both the good guys and bad. |
