Romney was an honest man, known throughout his religious leadership, business leadership, and leadership at the Olympics as a man of honor and integrity.

Romney was approached by constitutional conservatives during the Olympics, and was asked to run for Governor of Utah --the most conservative state in the US-- when he was done leading the Olympics.

Romney was formally petitioned by constitutional conservatives who claimed they were inspired by Romney's leadership abilities to run for governor of a conservative state.

Romney was from Massachusetts.

Trump announced an interest in running for President in 1988. Trump formed a committee in 1989. Trump has been a "politician" ever since. Trump formally became a registered Democrat after that. Trump supported liberal anti-gun candidates and causes after that. Supported anti-gun, sanctuary-cities De Blasio two years ago.

Romney was petitioned to run for Governor of Utah... Trump? Has Trump been petitioned by conservatives to run for dog catcher anywhere... IF (they are not) the same type of candidate... Where was Trump petitioned to run as a conservative outside the state of New York...?

Could it be that Trump was a registered Democrat?

Could it be that Trump funded and supported anti-gun, sanctuary-cities liberal candidates and issues...?

My point is that they are *not* the same. They have different values, and platforms. Romney also had a pro-NRA record, and a record of cutting the size and cost of government... Link

With Romney's endorsement from the NRA, with the NRA making-clear in plain-English that Romney had done the bidding of the NRA... A conservative could in good-conscience support "God Bless America!" Romney vs. "G- D- America!" Obama.

With Romney's clear record on cutting taxes and cutting the size of government... A conservative could in good-conscience support Romney vs. Obama.

Since you admire Romney so much let's take a look at how he feels about Trump.

“Donald Trump has shown an extraordinary ability to understand how our economy works,” Romney said, citing Trump’s record as a job creator. And, he concluded, “it means a great deal to me to have the endorsement of Mr. Trump.”

At least Romney doesn't think Trump is a socialist.

No one is lying about Trumps socialist agenda on healthcare he published in his book "The America We Deserve."

Trumps formally-published healthcare plan matches Sanders and Hillary almost word-for-word... And he has since clarified it... "Make the government pay for it..."

When a socialist says, they are going to make the government pay for it, what they are *really* saying is that they are going to raise taxes.

What they are really saying is that they are going to punish tax payers.

What makes Trump a socialist is his demand to make the government the intervener in everything hat needs to fix society.

Trump is the same candidate as Obama.

They both claimed they were going to use government to solve problems. Obama promised that he would use *his* people and ideals to fix the problems -- using government--

Trump is promising to use *his* people and ideals to fix the problems --using government--

Neither of them are promising to reduce the power of the presidency. Neither of them are promising to reduce the power of the Federal government.

That is what makes Obama a socialist. It is what makes Trump a socialist. That, and Trump formally published support for single-payer...

Trump flip-flops daily.

Trump gives his supporers neck pain from the whiplash of his changing policies and positions... And its only the Primaries.

Trump changes direction with the wind.

The supporters of his socialist agenda like that for some strange reason.

The truth... Trump vs. Hillary is socialist vs. socialist. Evil vs. evil.

What makes Trump a socialist are his formal published words outlining his support for socialized medicine. His recent, "make the government pay for it " socialist platform, and his demand to strengthen (not weaken) the power of the Presidency and the Federal Government at the expense of individual and states rights.

Trump vs. Hillary is New York liberal vs. New York liberal.

Trumps, "single payer" healthcare plan he formally published in "The America We Deserve" is to the far-left of "Romneycare."

Romney passed "Romneycare" as an alternative to the Trump-supported (back when Trump was a Democrat) single-payer alternative in Massachusetts. Democrats held the majority. They held all the cards.

If you want to complain about Romney, then look at the alternative at the time: single payer.

Romney was praised by conservatives for stopping Trumps plan: "single-payer."

Trump supported banning assault weapons, and formally published support for gun-bans. Romney --on the other hand-- did the bidding of the NRA... Link

Don't forget... Trump was a full-on anti-gun Democrat at the time. Trump was a formally registered Democrat. Trump supported the DNC agenda. And anti-gun Democrats held a veto-proof majority in MA, and had long since passed anti-gun laws long before Romney was on any ballot.

The NRA claims in plain-English that Romney did *their* bidding.

I find no such statements from the NRA towards Trump... Look at the NRA link. It is in plain-English that Romney made things better for gun owners in MA... Plain-English.

Romney was petitioned by constitutional conservatives to run for Governor of Utah after the Olympics. Trump has been a politician since 1988... Why have no conservatives asked Trump to run for dog catcher since then? Is it because Trump was formally an anti-gun Democrat? Honest question...?

They have both flung mud recently... I think that argument is out the window...

Let me ask you a question...

During the Olympics, constitutional conservatives petitioned Romney to run for Governor of Utah when the Olympics were over. Romney is from Massachusetts.

Trump announced his candidacy for President in 1988, formally formed a committee in 1989. And shortly after formally joined the Democrat Party. Subscribing to the DNC platform. Anti-gun. Sanctuary-cities. The whole nine yards.

Trump has been a politician since 1988.

I can see the constitutional conservatives claim that they were inspired by Romney's lead-from-the-front leadership style, and ask Romney to run for Governor.

But I don't see *any* conservatives ask Trump to run for *anything* anywhere since 1988... Why is that?

Honest question.

Why have no conservatives *anywhere* ask Trump to run for *anything.*

Governor of Texas? Nope. No petition to get a liberal New Yorker to run for Governor of Texas.

South Carolina? Nope. No petition to get a New York liberal to run for Governor of South Carolina.

Romney was petitioned to run for Governor of the most-conservative state in the US.

Trump has not been asked to run for Governor *anywhere.*

From a supporter of Trumps liberal record and socialist platform... Perhaps you could answer the question... ***WHY?***

Beck is not a fan of the populist movement. To him that would scream "Fascist" or "Hitler" like how those very alarm bells are going off of those trying to take down Trump as they become more and more desperate. A lot of people tend to gloss over populist movements and always go straight to "Fascist."

Also, Trump is pretty far from a socialist, he's a businessman who is advocating for a protectionist view on the economy, and wants us to be free of international obligations. He's already against NAFTA since it allows companies a tax-free pass to move jobs and locations to Mexico or Canada. He wants to keep the jobs here. I also want him because he is the largest proverbial middle finger to the GOP.

His supporters are the same ones that voted obama.
They only hear his speeches but don't listen to the words. "Make America great again" is no different the "hope and change".

But some how i think it is fitting the beginning of the end for America will be with a reality show President.
They will get celebrity apprentice white house edition, and be totally happy flipping to Trumps new conference during the commercials in american idol.

Beck might be crazy, I don't know. It might all be an act, I don't know.

What I do know is that Beck outlined years ago that there would be a socialist like Trump rise-up in the Republican ranks, and run on a campaign eerily similar to Obama's. Complete with smoke and mirrors to defend their socialist agenda.

Beck, crazy or not, is 100% right on Trumps socialist agenda.

What do you think is going to happen whenTrump makes his push to repeal obama care with "something"
He is on the record saying single payer is good.
He is going to sit down with the democrats and say "lets make a deal" and we will end up with something very much like single payer.

ANY deal with a democrat is a bad deal, they don't make deals unless they get in someway a piece of what they want.
Anything they get will be chipping away at the Constitution.
The dems are very very good at the long game.

In Trumps published book, "The America We Deserve" Trumps formally published agenda on healthcare matches the Hillary/Sanders model word-for-word: Single payer.

Yes, Trump is a, "make the government pay for it" socialist.

Trump demands that government fix the problems. Trump does not identify the top-heavy government *as* part of the problem. Trump advocates making the Federal government stronger, more-powerful and more-expensive as a tool for fixing the problem. Socialist.

Has he donated any money to fight the NYSAFE Act or any other pro 2A lawsuit/organization?

He's admitted to hiring illegals but wants them all out of the country... Unless he needs more employee's.

Cruz has been fighting the GOP"e" his *entire* professional life.

Trump has only gotten on-board the last few months.

Of course... Trump was a liberal anti-gun, sanctuary-cities Democrat before that, so you could say he hated the GOP agenda, then too... But for different reasons than he is claiming he hates the GOP now...
