He is not going to do it... But lets say he does.... How would he be able to do it without expanding the role, power, and expense of the Federal government... Yes... He has already flip-flopped on this... But lets say he flip-flops back... How would he deport 20 million people, and not order "Martial Law" (an enemy of conservative ideals). How could he do it, and not expand the role, power, and expense of the Federal Government. I don't think he could do it without activating the US Military on American soil... Require students (primary through college) to provide a valid birth certificate indicating they are a legal U.S. citizen or a current visa. It's currently against federal law to even ask a student if they are in this country legally. This alone will reduce overcrowding in our schools, increase achievement test scores, reduce the number of new schools being built, reduce the load on the tax payer at local and state levels, reduce the number of annoying levy commercials leading up to voting day (am I right?) and finally, increase the overall quality of education for everyone. |

View Quote Trumps flip-flops have been wild and extreme. And often spontaneous based on who is asking pointed-questions at the time. One day, to justify his tax-and-spend plan on socialized healthcare, Trump supports the mandate. In plain-English. Supports the mandate. Next day, after the reaction of conservatives to point-out Trumps liberal agenda and socialist platform, he backs off the "mandate" (he had used the word "mandate" in plain-English) and says, "we will make the government pay for it." So... Within 24 hours, Trump supported the mandate, then did not support the mandate, but clarifies that his plan would include coverage for all, including those who cant afford it, and the central-element would be that it would be paid for by the government. Sure. The Founding Fathers compromised on Slavery. It was deliberated and argued about, and to preserve the Union, there was compromise. Compromise has been part of our Country from the beginning. Trump claims --in the most bombastic ways-- that he is going to "fix the economy." He claims to wildly cheering crowds that he is better than the problems of other politicians. The absolute-truth... Trump flip-flops so much he is giving his supporters whip-lash. His lies are extravagant and bombastic. His flip flops are huge and extreme and sometimes spontaneous. Certainly not reflective of an effective leader. Sure, there is deliberate compromise in conservative ideology. Reagan is a perfect example. There can be compromise to create positive movement towards conservative goals. That is not Trump. Extreme flip-flops are often spur-of-the-moment decisions based on the audience and or who is asking the questions... Immigration is a perfect example. To wild and thronging crows, "We are going to deport all of the illegals" sounds like a great thing to say. Conservative people will scream with joy. Then Trump will be asked about the logistics of his extreme plan to deport 20 million people. Flip flop. Cowardly back-down. He does not really plan on deporting a soul. There is a difference between weighing out a decision and outright flipping and flopping all over the place, and it is not even the General yet. Trump is giving the supporters of his liberal agenda and socialist platform whiplash from his wildly changing positions. |

You'd find out really fast if he released that off the record recording that he acknowledged existed at the debate, but just like releasing his taxes he's pretending he doesn't know how things actually work. No, you wouldn't. Even if it contained statements about flexibility, people would still argue whether he was lying to his supporters, or lying to the liberal scumbags on the other side of the table at this off the record meeting. People inclined to believe Trump will choose the latter, and those who mistrust him will assume the former. It won't change a thing. The problem with this entire argument is that no one knows with any certainty where Trump stands. That's what makes him a risky candidate. While I generally agree that his faithful won't give a shit, why the bullshit reason to not release them during the debate? Who cares? Maybe because he doesn't have to. He doesn't have to play the GOP's game and it's burning them up. |

Quoted: Trumps flip-flops have been wild and extreme. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Generally, I don't buy "flip flopping" arguments. It's just another sort of propaganda. If we argued with an ordinary person, and he changed his mind and admitted he saw things our way because we raised valid points, we'd consider him an honest person, a reasonable guy capable of modifying his views based on new information. I don't really understand why we would call someone running for office inferior for doing the same thing. I get it, the argument would be that they are not sincere, but I just don't think that is something we can really know. It seems reasonable to be suspicious of such a change, but it would have to be evaluated on its own merit, not against some arbitrary standard of "Any candidate who modifies his views is dishonest." I still stand by my position that Trump's flip-flops have been wild and extreme, spontaneous, and often based on what the audience wants to hear at the time. That is the worst kind of politician. His flip flops don't appear to be thought-out compromises to accomplish specific objectives. His flip-flops appear to be the result of poor decision making and lack of coherency. But we can always agree to disagree. GD would be a boring place if we all agreed... |

Trump is the Republican Obama that Beck called years ago... Beck might be labeled a gun-owning, prepping crazy by the anti-gun left... But he is spot on the money with Trumps "the government will solve all the problems" socialist agenda. Obama's platform, "Elect me, and you will get everything you want from the government your taxes pay for." Trumps platform, "Elect me, and you will get everything you want from the government your taxes pay for." I see no *real* cognitive difference between Trumps socialist platform and Obama's platform. In fact, the only *real* difference between the two socialists is that Trump has no class. Had his wife pose naked for money. Broken up several families through adultery, and only bragged about it after... Only *real* difference between the two is that Trump makes it look like Obama brought class to the White House... Beck was right years and years ago when he called this originally when he was on Fox news... |

Which if that is what you are saying, I actually agree with you... Not all of them have wholly supported Trumps liberal platform and socialist agenda.... And with Trump saying that he will use an expanded Federal government with expanded powers to give conservatives everything they want... He *is* the Republican Obama... Who promised the same end result (an expanded and more-expensive Federal Government)... There is no *real* difference between the Obama end-result and the Trump end-result. They both meet the definition of socialist. |

You were saying? Two rich GOP entities donating to the Democrats.[/span] View Quote Yeah, lobbying firms give money to both sides of the isle... Frightening as it is real. It is part of the frightening machine that is the evil side of politics in this country. Trump wrote personal checks to guarantee political favors. Trump is and was part of the problem he is claiming he is going to fix. Pathetic as it is real. Frightening as it is real. Folks, Trump is lying to you about fixing the problem he helped to create. He is going to make it worse. You are 100% correct... The money that changes hands for political favors is disgusting and repulsive. Trump was and is knee deep in the cancer that is destroying our country from the inside-out. Trump himself wrote personal checks to liberal sanctuary-cities, anti-gun politicians and issues. When Trump announced his Presidential run in 1988, and formed a committee in 1989, ran again in 2000, then joined the Democrat National Committee through official membership in the Democrat Party, Trump himself supported the DNC platform supporting sanctuary cities, and anti-gun initiatives and policies. Trump put his evil money where his evil mouth was... Trump was knee-deep in the machine that funds the liberal sludge in our broken political system. Thanks for your insightful post... Yeah, Trump wrote personal checks to guarantee political favors. Trump isn't going to fix the system he helped to break... For all intents and purposes, Trump *is* the problem... Its not just Trumps base socialism that matches Obama's, "The big-government can fix the problems..." It isn't just his socialism... It is Trumps whole-hog, whole-nine-yards involvement in breaking the system... |

Beck is useless, but here......he is right. View Quote Yep. He is correct on this point. Obama promises that making government bigger, and more costly will fix societies ills as liberals see them. Trump promises that making government bigger, and more expensive will fix societies problems as conservatives see them. The end result is the same with both of them... A bigger government that costs more to run. The end result is the same with both of them... The Federal Government has more power and influence and costs more, and individual and states rights are lost... The end result is the **exact** same with both of them... Bigger Fed government, more taxes, and less individual and state rights... |
