NavSta Annapolis 85-89. The Greaseman was a daily routine, cranked on the radio at the armory. During the years I was there, there wasn't a single Gunner who couldn't recite skits by heart, complete with bad impersonations.

I heard the churches in the area (bible belt and all...) were pitching a fit about him and fought to get rid of him. I don't know if it's true though. |

I'm looking for one of his bits - Grease had an intern he called young Steve. Young Steve was looking for a name for his band. Grease went into this bit with thrash metal and some of the band names were 'oozing wound', 'knife your neighbor', 'spit on my grave', and others.
If anybody can post it up or put up a link I would appreciate it. |
