I recently drove through 2 north suburbs of Dallas that I hadn't visited in a few years, I was shocked at the demographic change. Remember how CA and IL were great places to live in 1980s. They are just doing a rinse, wash and repeat on TX now. We live in a very nice suburb of DFW. A couple of days he told me that they were building too many apartments in our area and that it was getting close to bail. Once the apartment dwellers reach parity with the home owners you are fucked. Once Texas goes blue, the nation is fucked. Been fun while it lasted boys. I will be waving the come and take it flag as the liberals storm the Alamo.

No doubt their campaign has been working as TX has been getting flooded with leftist companies and employees from Cali, the NE etc. I hope the good people of TX smash Abbott hard for this and stave off this onslaught from the left. |

Seriously, though, I’m not surprised at all by this. The tide is turning against the freedoms we have enjoyed to own military style weapons. This was the endgame all along for the right and the left. Your phone calls and emails will do nothing. These people don’t answer to us anymore. Vote them out if you think that matters. The next one will just pick up where the last one left off. |

Additionally, the generational and demographic changes within the country are happening. More and more Americans honestly aren't Pro Guns in terms of it being a Civil Rights issue. They are happy with Grandpa's bird gun and Dad's deer rifle or they keep a LCP in their sock drawer or center console as a magic talisman to ward away bad guys. Even the minority of Americans that have carry permits don't carry regularly. Additionally, with regards to gun rights. The NRA is a shining example of apathy. 5 to 6 million members, 2 million of which are voting eligible. Less than 150k of them actually voted in the last BoD elections. Less tha 1% of all gun owners in the US are politically involved in actually fighting for gun rights. Hiw many fought gun control in Colorado? How many showed up for free pmags when Magpul left Colorado? How many showed up to fight Rick Scott versus how many went to the Tampa gun show to horde more lowers, ammo, and mags? My experiences in the industry and community has been eye opening on a numb of things. The biggest is that people are lazy and worthless for the most part. |

The city with the most job creation from May of last year to May of this year? Dallas at 3.2% job growth. That's double the rest of the cities in the nation. In that period, over 80,000 new jobs were created and Ft Worth had 18,000. That's nearly 100k new jobs created in the past year. Is it any wonder transplants are headed for Texas in droves? We're victims of our state's great economy.
