NM law forbids any locality from enacting any Firearm ordnance not in alignment with State law. Legislative session begins soon, and will be interesting to see . NM has been traditionally a very good place with regard to 2nd Amendment rights - Vermont, Arizona, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming seem to be the other states that meet or exceed the freedoms we enjoy here. But the demographics have slowly changed over the years as more and more East and West coast people have moved here. Some embrace the Freedom, some are appalled by it. And it's been upsetting to see local and state politicians jump on the "lip-service" "gotta do SOMETHING NOW!" train. For now, guns, cash and ammo are flying back and forth furiously here. Face to face private transactions have no restrictions here, except to follow the laws regarding residency and age, or knowingly transferring to a prohibited person. All that, and we have "Red or Green"! Red and good job |

I doubt it. From many many years ago when I did some hunting, I recall a limit on rounds in the gun while bird hunting. My 870 is plugged at 3 rnds; Remove the plug it holds 5. |

All in all it was a GREAT day! The really funny part is the police ran out of money to buy guns, so they started sending people to our table. Unfortunately we ran out of money shortly thereafter but we literally had a line of people waiting to sell us their guns. Can't wait for the next buy back! THIS IS THE BEST POST OF THE DAY!
