Ordered 2 of each color. Paid the shipping, instead of sending my wife to pick up since I am at work. They will probably be iut by the time I could get there tonight.

I was able to get 3 tan ones and didn’t have to show the coupon. I have had one for 3 or 4 years that I use as a toolbox in my Jeep and it has been fine getting beat to death.

Online it let me purchase 6 (and maybe more?) using the coupon

Looks like it will fit but very very tight Attached File

Thanks OP!
I was there at my local one at 7:50AM (Lamar Blvd). Already in the area for blood work. They only had 3 and all orange. bought all 3. Waiting for my blood work I ordered 2 black ones online and then after blood work, I went back and returned 2. I only needed 3 and now I have one of each color. |
|
I bought the only one in stock this morning around 8:25am at my local store.

Ordered a couple
One tan to match with my raider for my poor man's CCS m45a1 One orange for hell of it |
|
Their online credit card system is broken. Tried several, it would process none. An exercise in frustration.
However apparently a local store has some in stock so will see if can get it. |

Ordered two black and one tan online. Half hour drive to my nearest store and there is 0 chance they would have any left by 6pm tonight when I could actually get there.
Plus I'd burn $7 in gas getting there and back anyways. |

All they had left at my local store was orange so I grabbed one of those and the nice lady adjusted the price for the one I'd picked up Friday when they were $29- didn't really want orange but for $10 I'm not complaining, I'll use this one for recovery gear.

Quoted: I have a bunch of Pelican and Apache cases and I’m some ways I think the Apache are better. Most notably my Pelican cases have their style pressure release thingy while the Apache have a screw type that has an o ring. If I seal up the pelican cases and stand on them the air will whistle in and out. The Apache cases I can remove the screw let the air release when I stand on it and then put the screw in and it will hold the reduced pressure for many months. I really like that they are that airtight, the larger cases can be tough to open if you don’t equalize the pressure after this but that just means the contents are well sealed from the outside. View Quote You know what, you're right. Sorta. My previous comment was based on a rifle case I have, which is okay but not great. Just looked and that's a Plano case, not an Apache. I do own a couple of the Apache cases, to include a 3800, and they're a large step up from the Plano. I'd still prefer Pelican or Nanuk over the Apache, but the Apache didn't deserve the mild bashing I gave it earlier in the thread. I'm going to edit that post... |

I got the last two at my local harbor freight. Anyone who wants to get in I would definitely order online.

The 3800s are nice, but you can get a 16" barrel in a 4800 (so maybe 2-3 complete parts kits if the barrel is removed from the upper) |

I have a feeling these aren't as great as people think they are. Every one that I looked at at my local store I could see tiny cracks in the plastic. My guess would be that it's crappy recycled Chinese plastic.

But seriously, I don’t think that anyone expects that these are “great.” But probably happy with “good enough” for a fraction of the price of the similarly sized Pelican offerings. |

Picked up the last two at my local HF for $43 OTD. Thanks for the heads up.
These can be used as locked containers for flying and traveling behind enemy lines (California) correct? Attached File |

Hell my kids like to jump and stand on them when I have them on the ground. I would easily spend the $40 (let alone $20) on these again for the 'They'll do just fine for my need', as will many others. I also dont have THOUSANDS of dollars in a drone, or camera gear etc to put in these either.. |

Saw this thread yesterday and ignored it, then again this morning, read a bit, stayed strong, but then opened it again this afternoon and somehow couldn't resist, as I ordered 2 online. No huge reason, not even sure what I'll put in them, but I currently have a 2800 I use for spearing decoys, and have no complaints with the construction

tag for going to the store after work to pick some up. They show in stock in several stores in my AO

Thanks OP, I was able to get the very last one at my local HF!

Ordered, 2 black and 1 orange. Shipping was only $6.99. Rather than driving 8 miles to the store to find out all the had left in-stock would likely be yellow.

My local harbor fraught was picked over so I ordered three online. I have one of the 4800 series for my MP5K.
