My orange one was supposed to be delivered yesterday but I got a notice it was "delayed" because item "has been damaged in shipment".
 Supposed to get the tan and black ones tomorrow. Unless they back up over those too. |

@Chas8008 Here is a couple more pictures. I lay out what I want, pluck it out. I buy the black spray plastidip. Find somewhere with LOTS of ventilation, spray a lite layer on the foam. Come back in 30-45mintues depending on how warm it is when you do the plastidip. Hit with about layer - Paying closer attention to your corners where your more likely to have brakes and such. Add layers till yours happy. You can also layer it to a smooth top - but its a complete pain in the ass to get. I've been able to get it once.. I received two boxes last night. One was about the size of a 3800. Yup, one orange case inside. The other box was six times the size of one case. Label said it contained my other tow. Nope, one 3800 and a lot of air. Called HF CS this morning and number three should be here in a week. They were very good about it, aside from it being their fault in the first place.

Got 3 black shipped to me, the
Kids picked up a couple of tan ones for me back home. Full size Autos/compact autos/short revolvers will fit fine ‘front to back’ in the case. Looks like I can do 4+ easily per case. Longer revolvers need to go side to side. Has anyone cut/pulled the foam for them? Looking for layout ideas to maximize the use of the case. Thanks! |

Went to HF today, they were fully stocked with every color of the 3800 cases.
I'm wondering if I can take the 3800 GAWDAWEFUL ORANGE case back that I got on the sale and swap it for a tan one. Straight across. I opened it once, didn't even take the tags or stickers off. Yeah I guess it's vanity thing, but I really wanted a tan one. Wish me luck ! |
