My other grandfather didn't have any relationship with my father after he remarried. He only learned as he was dying of brain cancer he had grandchildren. I never met him, he's just old photographs, a grave, and a name to me.

My paternal Grandfather died in 1945 when my father was 7, my paternal Grandmother died when he was 20. My father was also the youngest of 13 children. Probably explains why he turned out to be a horrible person. |

One grandfather left me a 16ga 870 and a mini14. He wrote on the owners manual “give this to smokedbro”.
