Contemplating tonight: If any Deployment Team is short of equipment, It's MY turn to run shotgun on the van/car delivering whatever.

Nice commute.
Mostly sunny skies.....Sunshine right into my eyes..... |

At least none of the Deployment Teams will be short anything: Just checked and everything is loaded; in the Proper Van for the Proper Team.

I hate when the thread shows new posts but there's nothing there. Must be another glitch.

Like you thought you got a nice present to open and it's an empty box.

More like some strange voice said "look at all the presents under the tree!!" Then I come running out and there's no person, no presents, and no tree.

So boss told me and the super a few months back that he signed a letter of intent to sell the company. Then that company came back after looking over the books and said, not so fast. While we're extremely profitable, we're about half the sized they thought we were.
Earlier this week our landlord gave us an eviction notice. We lease half the building, apparently he's expanding and wants the whole thing. We gotta be out by the end of February. Today the boss pulled me and the super in this morning to say the company that just bought the company that wanted to buy us, is now buying us. I literally need one more fucking year until I can pull retirement and keep all of my bennies. I won't retire in a year, I think 3 is more realistic. With the economy nosediving now is not the time for a dude in his 50's to have to start looking for work. |

Quoted: Decent I have my first gun, an Anschutz .22 for that View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: All depends on which subsonic round I'm shooting Gemtech cycles the action and is about as loud as my pellet rifle with 10 pumps American Eagle cycles the action and is quieter than the pellet rifle CCI doesn't cycle the action and is just as quiet as a bolt action Decent I have my first gun, an Anschutz .22 for that That's a hell of a first rifle. I was eyeballing an Anschutz 1418 (mannlicher sporter) at a pawn shop in FL when I lived there. Pretty beat up, but no real rust and solid mechanically; they wanted $1200, I offered $700, they didn't budge and I walked. |

Think i done fucked up something in my back
Shoveling the steps last night I slipped on some ice right as I was throwing a shovel full and twisted weird. Might have to steal some of the wife's leftover painkillers from her shoulder surgery. |
