Like it or not we are in the digital era gentlemen. Printed magazines and books are on their way out of the mainstream and becoming novelties or special occasion items.

I'm gonna be pretty pissed if that actually happens to books. There is other print media that loses something in digital format, but one hell of a lot is lost if you get rid of books. |

They all still have good articles and bring to my attention things I've missed on the net or other media sources. Some things I just want a hard copy on hand for future reference down the road. Some things belong in the garbage, that's what digital is for. Even SWAT seems to have gotten watered down over the last few years. I didn't bother renewing last year when my subscription ran out and I don't think I've missed much, judging by the issues I've looked over in stores. |
