Of course. Both Clinton and Reagan make the Obama crew look like girl scouts. In fact the real (rather than talk radio) world, Obama's administration has been one of the least corrupt in recent decades -- and his big "scandal" involves (surprise surprise) Clinton. In the real world Obama hasn't really done much of anything other than continuing wars and programs and spending levels started by previous administrations. The GOP has been watching the guy through a microscope and they have nothing. Not even any good specific allegations. They're left sputtering out vague innuendo and harping on his middle name and his apparent preference for rap music.
I am certainly no Obama fan. I disagree with him policy wise virtually across the board. But the guy inherited an economy in complete horror mode collapse plus CBO projected 1.3 trillion per year deficits going forward indefinately, and he managed to not make things worse. The irrational hatred of Obama does not help win supporters to our side, it just makes us look silly. |
