I bought a Remington 700 5R and an Accuracy International chassis to go with it, maybe 10 years ago. Problem was that the 5R wasn't exactly like the standard 700 and I had to shave off some metal on the stock to make it fit.

Dremel tool worked like a champ, it was even pretty after I was done with it.

Restaurants contoured the feed ramp of a SIG P6 so it would feed hollow points.

Yes.

Polishing the sliding surfaces in the trigger mechanism of a Polymer80.

Grinding out bedding.

Shaping the recoil lug recess.

Polishing for cosmetic finish.

I fixed some unfortunate dremel work on a buddy's 1911...but did it by hand.
