If you order the Esstac belt, it comes with the velcro.

Yes you need it.

Mine probably can. It's a gaming laptop.

If it can't, I'll have to rebuild my desktop with the 1080. That should be fine since they're only recommending a 1060.

Looking at it now.
I used HamStudy.org.  It was free.  I also downloaded a practice test app to my phone so I could study in my spare time when I wasn't at home.

Also also, the No Nonsense Study Guide is really good.  It's a PDF file you can buy online.  It gives you all the test answers but also explains why the correct answer is the correct one.
Just took the practice test totally blind.

17/35
19 for me.
35/35 on Tech and General, 48/50 on Extra.
We should set up a 24/265 HF net some time.

I can do 10/15/20/40/80 with my vertical, but 80 is a little bit of a PITA since I can only cover about 1/3 of the General portion of the band at a time without taking it down and adjusting the whip length.  I have it on a tilt mount so it only takes a minute, but it means I have to leave the basement.

Of course, this also means that you're taking people who are more prone to health issues and hygiene problems and letting them in a store where they can gob their paws all over the inventory (and cooler handles, card readers, cash...) which gets shared with the rest of the clientele.

For yeast I have some 1056 and a mix of WLP002 and Brett C, both harvested from the bottom of the carboy of my last two batches.  Plus I could grow some stuff from the dregs of a sour Saison I have in the bottle.  Used The Yeast Bay Melange blend for that, it turned out fantastic.

Hops - A couple ounces of Hallertau Mittelfruh and 3-4 oz of Nugget.

Malt, some Munich, 2 row pale, pilsener, wheat, a little Special B, some chocolate, and some flaked oats.

I'm actually sitting pretty good for supplies, except for hops.

Unless the back side of that is covered in velcro, an inner belt is pretty useless.
