What have you been doing then? Seen shtf was coming and I know this is the best place to stay in the loop.
We're trying to maintain a certain level of non-freaking-out-iness in here. So far, so good. I can't change much of the situation anyway, so no need to panic. 
I convinced the wife to buy an extra week's worth of groceries just in case. And I think I'm going to do an ammo inventory on Saturday and see how many I can reload. Need to find a decent loading for the powder I have, though. I had been working on it when I quit reloading. |

It nearly killed me.  Sorry for the long post. Glad you're still with us! Worst part of it all? The coughing. Couldn't stop, literally coughing from when I woke up gasping, till I passed out from exhaustion. Coughing till I thought my ribs were going to break and I saw stars. Then because I was dehydrated, my abs stayed cramped, and that just made the coughing hurt worse. It got so bad I ripped the hose off the breathing treatment machine and used it to inflate my lungs so I could get a full lung cough and about 30 seconds of relief. I pride myself on being able to take a lot of pain and physical abuse, but this turned me into a helpless sack. I see why so many people are dying from this if it's similar. |
